If the world cup was in 1 month who would be your 23 players you would bring to brazil?

My team: Neuer, Adler, Ter Stegen, Lahm, Hummels, Howedes, Boateng, Mertesecker, Badstuber, Castro, Lars Bender, Khedira, Schweisteiger, Gundogan, Kroos, Ozil, Gotze, Mueller, Reus, Schurrle, Draxler, Klose, Gomez

    Who would you guys take?

    Neuer, Adler, ter Stegen
Lahm, Boa, Hummels, Bads, Schmelzer, Howedes and Jantschke/Jung
    Schweini, Khedira, Benders, Gundogan
Reus, Ozil, Muller, Kroos, Gotze, Schurrle, Poldi
    Klose

Maybe replace one of the Benders with Holtby, Rode or Draxler, but that'd probably be my 23

Holtby great shout. Best midfielder in league so far this season for me.

Can play in #10 role because of mobility and in double pivot. Will continue to be ignored by Loew unfortunately.

Ozil, Khedira, Muller, Podolski, Schweini, Kroos, Reus, Gotze, Holtby, L. Bender
    Klose, Yesil

Will roll the dice on Yesil. Dont want the turks to "steal" him. the kid has high ceiling and not like we have other options up top anyway

    Backup:

Zieler, Oczipka, Gundogan, Draxler, Schurrle, Petersen

Yesil has not done much with liverpool yet.

Also, Am I the only one that thinks castro belongs on the team?

Holtby prob deserves to be there aswell.

The problem is he plays in a stacked position.

I think he should def get called up tho.

Castro would be behind Khedira, both Benders and Rode if not Rudy as well, as a holder/box-to-box midfielder, that's why I don't think he makes the team.

I thought he was a right back.

We dont really have many good right and left backs and I feel he is better then Schmelzer.

I don't watch Leverkusen all that much, but everytime I have he's been in the midfield. I didn't think he still plays RB?

I'm ok with our FBs so long as we actually use two of them, Schmelzer isn't great but he's used to playing the position, brings a lot of energy and has good speed to race back when our high line gets beat. Ideally though one of the U21s steps up after the Euro next summer, Jantschke if he gets his shit together would be a good defensive option and Jung's having a great season this year.
