Yeah too bad. It's pretty much like Aubameyang and Gabon. Great players that plays for the wrong national team, much like Magico Gonzalez back in the day.
I wouldn't count Gabon out, they're actually decent. I expect them to qualify to the group stage, and depending on their group, they might have their chance.
Well, you're not totally wrong, but they have some godo players as well. Ecuele-Manga is a very solid defender, Lemina has been getting time with Juve and is very promising and Evouna (plays for Al Ahly) could be playing in europe right now. I wouldn't like them in our group, they (and Guinea) somehow always manage to get wins against us
161. South Sudan Drew 1-1 at home with Mauritania, then lost 4-0 in Mauritania (conceding two goals playing with ten men after Aluck Akeuch Deng's 79th-minute straight red card); eliminated 5-1 on aggregate.
Plus Levy Madinda and Didier Ovono aren't no names. Mario Lemina is the most interesting, because he's very highly rated. Gabon has actually become a country that counts in African football in the past few years...
Madinda is a good name yeah. Ovono has been a mainstay for the team but is on the wrong side of 30 now. The only household names really are Aubameyang and possibly Lemina (huge potential).
We could be losing Kuwait soon, too... Indonesia were kicked out of the WC for the same thing if I'm not mistaken... http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/...-government-interference-151008084351624.html

Djibouti can see some more potential exits from AFC (as many as 6?) on 12th November
7 - as I think Bangladesh can as well as the 6 I'm assuming you mean (TLS, MAS, TJK, MDV, AFG, LAO) - mind you the possibility for error in this is huge! + Kuwait presumably if they are kicked out permanently J
The 7th matchday of the AFC WCQ will be played today. Here are the teams that could be out following today's games: GROUP A: Timor Leste will be eliminated if they lose to the UAE, or if they draw but Palestine beats Malaysia. Malaysia will be out if they lose to Palestine AND the UAE beats Timor Leste. GROUP B: Whoever loses between Bangladesh vs Tadjikistan will get eliminated. Both teams will be eliminated if they draw each other, or if Australia beats Kyrgyzstan (no matter the result between Bangladesh vs Tadjikistan). If Bangladesh wins but Australia/Kyrgyzstan ends in anything other than a draw, they will be out. NOTE: Australia 2 - 0 Kyrgyzstan after 60 minutes of play Group C: Maldives will be out if they do not beat Hong Kong. GROUP D: No teams concerned by elimination today. GROUP E: Afghanistan will be eliminated if they fail to beat Cambodia or if Singapore vs Japan doesn't end in a draw (no matter Afghanistan's result). GROUP F: Technically, Chinese Taipei could still be in it even if they lose, but I think it depends on the results of other groups' 2nd place teams. GROUP G: Assuming Kuwait stays in the competition and doesn't get disqualified or anything of the sort. Laos will be eliminated if they fail to beat Lebanon. GROUP H: No teams can be eliminated today.
FT AUSTRALIA 3 - 0 KYRGYZSTAN Both Bangladesh & Tadjikistan are eliminated before even playing their game. 158. Bangladesh 158. Tadjikistan
154. and 153. Malaysia and Timor-Leste Palestine 6:0 Malaysia and United Arab Emirates's win over Timor-Leste eliminated Malaysia and Timor-Leste. Malaysia will finish behind Saudi Arabia and at least one of United Arab Emirates or Palestine because United Arab Emirates and Palestine play each other. Although United Arab Emirates hasn't won yet, they lead 8:0 in the 90th minute.
Minor detail, but shouldn't they both be 154? I know Malaysia's game ended earlier but it's the UAE's victory which officially put them out the race. And now, it's official with UAE game coming to an end.
I know they were eliminated together. I like having individual numbers, and what I meant (but I didn't say it that way) was 154 and 153 in either order. Lebanon leads Laos 6:0 in second half stoppage time, making Laos Number 152. Asia has 28 teams left (39 teams playing of which 11 are eliminated) for 12 spots in the Third Round. Edit: Lebanon won 7:0.
