South Korea will win it considering they haven't hosted the finals since 1960.

I welcomed when our FA announced their intention to host 2023 edition. At the heel of getting so close to winning it 2015, following the footstep of Australia's fantastic job at hosting and winning it, felt it was a nice timing to host one. We haven't hosted since 1960, so we are due to get it.

But they are some opposition on our side as well. Since cost of hosting these international sporting events are high(we just hosted Asian games and will be hosting winter Olympic in 2 yrs) lot of my fellow Koreans would like to see the money going to grassroots youth development . I can't argue with that. But I can say, since our country has all the infrastructure already, the cost I assume will be minimal. And I say yes to hosting Asian cup instead of China hosting it again.

It is not a secret that China want to bid for the 2030 WC, China is now bidding for 2023 AFC Asian Cup, a lot of construction plan had already announced.

Tianjin Quanjian - a 45,000 seated soccer venue planed to be open in 2019

Shanghai SIPG - the SIPG had started joint construction with Shanghai Government to build a 56,000 capacity football Venue in Pudong Area, planed to be open in 2019.

China last hosted the Asian Cup in 2004, whereas Korea has not hosted since 1960. Korea is a top Asian football country and I support Korea's bid.

    China hosted in 2004.

Indonesia and Thailand have withdrawn their bids.

Korea is the logical choice but if they're given the tournament it would have to be hosted in the summer. Can't imagine teams playing in the bitter cold of January.

That said, India has now thrown its hat into the ring and with the AFC bending over backwards for them I really think they might get it despite the lack of football specific stadia.

I think it is good to have it in a football power house nation such as Iran, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia or Japan.
