Did anyone listen to the FEF president's speech? While I am mad he didn't sack Gomez, I was surprised to hear what he said:
    - He called out everyone from the coach to the players
    - Said 70% of the players shouldn't be playing for the NT
    - Basically warned Gomez that if results don't show he will get sacked
    - FEF is going to reduce the amount of money given to those called up

You think he will be able to make a change in his time as president. I feel like there not much he can do under these circumstances we are in.

Even since last Copa America I've been basically fed up with the NT. I saw this coming since then

Apparently Gomez is gone bro. So if it's true, Egas kept his word on making the necessary changes.

There negociating his release. Its 4mil to terminate his contract i hope he doesnt leave with 4mil in his pockets. Media is already puting up names to replace him. The people want Celico, Peckerman, and Bauza in that order.

If we do get Celico i hope we get a coach that can continue the sub20 process.

I wouldn't mind Pekerman since he's done well on the NT level.

Celico should remain with the youth program to help them grow for the NT.

I find him pretty hard to get his salary was like 3 mil with colombia and at his age i doubt he would want to coach a team for 4 years.

I agree with Celico tho. He should continue with the U20 and join the senior team later on.

Apparently our next coach won't be Bauza, Pekerman, nor Celico but a European.

I wonder who they have in mind.

All I want is Bolillo out. If that happens I’ll be super happy because almost anybody else would be an upgrade honestly. I doubt we make it to the World Cup either way since we are in the middle of a generation change and haven’t found an identity. Might as well get a coach that can work with Celico together to rebuild the NT from top to bottom. So that we can be ready for the following Copa America and World Cup.

Shit....these eliminatorias are going to be even harder. Watching Peru - Chile game makes me wonder we don’t have a chance for that 5th spot.

We are also rumored to be talking to matias almeyda and zubeldia. O never found the post saying we are looking for a euro couch. But who knows whats really going on.

It also rumored that fef says they are willing to give Bolillo a second chance if he aims for rebuiling the team with youth players.

I know it was pretty upsetting to see all the posting say that he is out and then the possible candidate to replace him then they hit us with that nah bro he needs to leave stick to your word kick him out no more saying we need to think about this with calm.

Not even. Quinteros was pretty much a failure with Bolivia and any other team he's coached. Sampaoli has national team coaching experience now with Chile and a Copa America under his belt.

So officially Gomez is gone as of today.

Now I hope they don't hire another mediocre coach.

What I meant was like if he’s going to be biased towards a certain team like Quintero. Sure he did alright with Emelec but not calling up other players was a big mistake.

Also I bet Sampaoli doesn’t have the balls big enough to make a change. I remember seeing that and was like wtf?

Unfortunately, between bad dealings and legitimate corruption from past administrations, the FEF is basically an empty shell of an organization.

I'm not sure that there's budget to bring the names/caliber of coach we need to really polish our players and set up a foundation for big changes.

I could be wrong, but people were sweating Bolillo's contract recession and having to hire elsewhere.

I hope we can get a solid Coach. Sampaoli could be great.

This call up is one of the most interesting in recent memory. I’m actually pretty pumped to see these players play. Can’t wait!
