@DonJuego , How about this one, seems happy enough to have a club that serves as nothing more than a spoiler, sort of a Crystal Palace or QPR of MLS, right? Or am I missing something http://mobile.twitter.com/webtilton/status/1172250369793114112
We have. But those quotes from the men in the meeting though DJ. Terrific insight to what they were kicking around behind closed doors at our club's hierarchy. I had not read those actual conversations on our boards. Right on.
Dynamo sending another blast email asking about RSVPs for Select a Seat on Saturday. Really pushing up until the deadline on this one
What? your off in juviechelsey level of delusion and misrepresentation now. I'm done. Your just trolling
What is misrepresented? I linked to a tweet he directly posted. It says what it says. He’s looking forward to being a spoiler team
I already selected my main 2020 seat - my couch. I’m sure I’ll go to a few games but not gonna buy season tickets especially with the whole incomplete disclosing of pricing and funny discount calculation math. Just can’t reward that. And it’s a lot less aggravating to put up with crappy concession lines, poor stadium staffing, a cheap roster, and bad play when you know aren’t actively funding the operation with cash flow. Folks need to understand that sports teams try to fund their cash flow needs from upfront season ticket sales, sponsorships, and some rights fees. So not only does the absurdly early Widder “membership year” dates serve to lock in folks (or create a barrier to exit) for the next year, it cuts the cash funding requirements for owners and saves them some interest
BTW, this Surge thing seems a little too . . . social media slick to be fully organic if you get my drift
I've been wondering about them too. One of the groups the FO "reached out to" for the Alliance? I dunno....
The Surge... because we don’t have enough supporters groups. Ms Widder’s dream of a supporters wall is becoming a reality.
Widder has increased the number of Supporters Groups by 50%. Great achievement for her year end evaluation and will look great on her resume.
Wow! I have been invited to meet with John Walker and mingle with other Dynamo executives and "members" before the Orlando City FC game.
@Westside Cosmo They are looking for props for their next press release titled "Dynamo Execs really, really listening to fan feedback."
You know they are going to shoot some photos and write up an article on it, probably released the Monday or Tuesday after the game
I've lost count of how many "last chance to pick the best seats" emails I've gotten from the Dynamo. Had someone try and call me a week or so, left a voice mail, I never returned the call.
This Surge thing seems somewhat fishy - very pro-FO stuff and was another SG really needed? http://mobile.twitter.com/TheSurgeSG/status/1172866822753984513
The whole FO initiative, to me, seems to be to recruit new SGs and fill up the north end, and charge each of them $35 for the right to buy tickets there.
Why I think there is some AstroTurfing going on goes to this: where are these supporters now? How hardcore are they if they aren’t showing up now but plan to show up in 2020? The amount of folks in supporters area right now tells me the current groups need more folks not to compete against other groups. The whole thing feels manufactured
