Will the San Jose Earthquakes also be getting a separate jersey sleeve sponsor for this season?

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

I watched the video and noticed that the intermedia CEO watched Wondo break the record and was really excited about it.

So not only do we rely on Wondo to score most of our goals but also he’s integral in getting our jersey sponsor.

When Wondo retires we’re going to need to sign a star just to get the sponsors.

What do you mean? You told us yesterday that you heard your company was somehow involved.

No I most certainly did not. I didn't know anything until this morning.

While I was on the bus on the way to the stadium, then they told us.

Even then I still had no idea about the fact we would be he new sponsor. When we pulled into he park, I didn't know what to expect and was kind of overwhelmed.

Ok, my mistake, it was this morning, at 9:31. You need to go to your BigSoccer settings and change to PST, cuz you're on Eastern time.;)

The link provided all of the info you ask. It is a relatively small company in Sunnyvale, with about $250 Million annual sales. The deal includes a box at all home games plus a box at away games. The Quakes will use Intermedia products exclusively where applicable.

I today's world, $250 Million per year of revenue for a tech company is relatively small, as the company's CEO alluded. In fact, he said they are a small company.

I think it's cool that it's a local company with a national reach sponsoring our team. Beats Amway or a local hospital network in my opinion. Plus the name is kind of cool sounding at best and non obnoxious at worst and the local is pretty sleek too. They may be small but this is about as good as it gets in my opinion.

And I think the first year of the contract their revenues were $5billion.

that's completely cool, falvo. pretty incredible that you had no idea and it was a complete surprise. I'd be pretty excited about that too, glad to know there's at least one massive Quakes fan working at the company sponsoring our jersey!

I've been waiting for something like this to happen since at least 1985 when the orginal NASL folded.....

If someone were to tell me then, or even from 1985-1995 as well as th hiatus of 2006 & 07 that this would happen now, I would think they were crazy! :)

Not quite. I heard they were about to get a sign but the deal fell through. It doesn’t really matter though because it would probably end up with the signs of Mel Cottons , Dicks Super Markets and Orchard Supply...

I'm not sure about a lot of things but I can assure you, that little bird, is vastly growing up real fast!

I am glad they got a sponsor, but they need to work on the logo. The placement and logo looks off on the shirt.

That’s because the jersey design is crap. No fault of Intermedia nor their logo (which looks better in four colors rather than one).

    Go Quakes!!
    Fisher OUT!!

Falvo, they should give every employee of your company a new jersey with the sponsorship. A good way to increase visibility of the sponsorship and maybe create a few Quakes fans at the same time!

I have officially decided that it's really, really, really, really dumb that the MLS does not allow the colors in the short logos.
