When in Spain...A few of the U-17 #USMNT players took in some quality fútbol this weekend, attending @FCBarcelona vs. @valenciacf_en at Camp Nou. pic.twitter.com/1l0MEQAswq— U.S. Soccer YNT (@USYNT) April 16, 2018
Sounds like there's a bit of confusion on whether Pynadath got a touch to Lopez's header before it went into the goal. Now I wonder if Harry Kane was on hand. 🥁 https://t.co/hNijvG6HCK— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 16, 2018

From that report: The first real chance of the game went to India when the boys earned a corner in the 4th minute, but the subsequent effort didn’t trouble the scorers. USA had a chance of their own to take the lead in the 20th minute but Niraj Kumar made the save to keep things level. Your definition of "first real chance" may vary.
For some a corner is a real chance for others 7 outstanding performances are required to beat mighty India 1:0.
One man's prospect who's accomplished nothing is another man's star who's unfairly trapped on the bench, as a great abuser of cliches once said.
For what it's worth, if you look at his Twitter timeline, Diego Lopez liked and retweeted the report from Zlebmada that he scored. 985941118603833344 is not a valid tweet id
Can't find anything from the US, but Norway is reporting that the US is up 1-0 at half. Apparently it was Adam Saldana who scored after some "klabb og babb" at the goalmouth after a corner. Sometimes languages have expressions that I think are just universally understood.
2-0 now, no word on the scorer. Match should nearly be finished. *edit, and as I post that, it's over. 2-0 FT. I'll see if the Norwegians post a match report, they should since they apparently have somebody there covering it.
Here's (a rough translation of) their report: The U-16 national team lost Tuesday's friendly against the US. Adam Saldana scored the match's first goal after he scored during a hectic goalmouth scramble from a corner in the 35th minute. In the second half Gianluca Busio finished the match off with his 2-0 goal. "It was a deserved victory for the US. We came up against a good team who was physically tough. In the first half we were taken a bit by the physicality and speed, and we never had time on the ball and gave it away too easily," said U-16 manager Erland Johnsen to fotball.no "In the second half we stayed back a bit and played more cynically, improved a bit and stood up more in duels," he continued. Norway was close to scoring on a few occasions, with both a cross-cum-shot and a breakaway on the keeper, but unfortunately it was the US who prevailed. The Norwegian players left a man unmarked on the near post, which led to a goal. "For us that type of match was a good learning experience. We need to take better care of the ball than we did today. It was also a matter of chemistry, and we'll work more on that," said Johnsen. Norway already has another match against India tomorrow, while a new match against the US waits for Saturday. "It's fun and a great challenge to meet new types of opposition. Our goal has been to get better offensively and to create more. We didn't quite succeed today, but we'll work more with that chemistry. Tomorrow it'll be new players who get the chance. It'll be really great," ended Johnsen.
I’m glad to hear Armour played well in his sub appearance. Hope he gets more of a runout in the later games. As an NCFC fan it’s a little frustrating to have a good academy but no path to the actual team. If you look at guys like Lopez, Serrano, and Busio they’re all getting USL experience but Armour probably won’t ever get a shot. The model here seems to be to produce college players and nothing else. Manny Perez could have been under contract this year instead of at NC State and moved to Europe or MLS from here; instead he’ll play another year of college ball and move on while NCFC gets nothing. Just seems wasteful to me.
Our U17s vs. India. Top row: Cervantes, Garcia, Barragan, Lopez, Gray. Bottom row: Pynadath, Hernandez, Serrano, Tolkin, Stroud, Fuentes.
Only one of those players has ever developed their soccer in Mexico, Barragan at Club Atlas, and it appears he leans toward the US despite being reported as "wanted by Mexico" by USA Prospects and receiving multiple El Tri YNT callups.
Got a detailed first-hand report from the U.S. U17s 2-0 win over Norway this morning in Spain.More of a first-choice starting XI, from what I can gather: GK D. Las, G. Bello, M. Judge, A. Alejandre, J. Scally, L. Flores, A. Saldana, G. Busio, A. Jasson, B. Redzic, (C) G. Reyna.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 17, 2018 Goals from Adam Saldana (@_RealSoCal) and Gianluca Busio (@SportingKC). For our correspondent, Saldana was man of the match as a two-way midfielder. Gio Reyna (@NYCFC) started as the No. 9 (ha!), and also played well drifting wide to either side.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 17, 2018 The scoreline flatters the U.S. a bit, I'm hearing. Norway was dangerous, hit the woodwork a couple times. American goalkeeper Damian Las (@ChicagoFire) was excellent. Centerback pairing Mason Judge (@ChargersDA) and Axel Alejandre (@FCUnitedPremier) also solid.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 17, 2018 I hear fullbacks George Bello (@atlutd2) and Joe Scally (@nycfc) attacked and defended well, but were both a bit loose in possession. Luis Flores (@shattuckstmarys) was the 6. A little sloppy in the first half. Cleaned it up in the second.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 17, 2018 Saldana's goal was a toe poke on a rebound after a scramble in the box. Busio scored on a cross from subbed-on winger Ray Serrano (@SoundersFC2) after a Norway turnover and quick buildup.Next match is Thursday against India.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 17, 2018
Thank you for including the GIF that is the appropriate response to this post. You should try to learn something about the size and timing of different waves of immigration, then get back to us.
I just used my ignore button for the first time. It’s a neat tool, as opposed to a recent poster who is just a tool, period. Highly recommended.
The U.S. U17s beat India 1-0 this morning (again) in the third of four friendlies in Spain. Winger Joshua Pynadath (@AFCAjax) scored, assisted on a cross from the left side by Diego Lopez (@atlutd2), after Tayvon Gray (@NYCFC) won the ball at midfield and played Lopez in.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 19, 2018 Starting XI: GK A. Cervantes, T. Gray, M. Barragan, P. Stroud, J. Tolkin, C. Garcia, J. Imperato, B. Redzic, A. Armour, J. Pynadath, (C) Diego Lopez. Peter Stroud (@RedBullsNY), usually a 6, played right back. Michael Barragan (@atlasfc), usually a RB, played CB.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 19, 2018 Sounds like the U.S. dominated possession and didn't finish well. Most of the forward thrust came through Pynadath and Lopez. India was dangerous on the counter. Luis Flores (@shattuckstmarys) impressed off the bench at CDM.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 19, 2018 A little more on the goal and then I’m out. Lopez received the ball from Gray at the top of the box, a shade to the left. Dribbled the defender wide and hit a firm left-footed cross on the ground for a relatively straightforward Pynadath finish.— scuffed (@scuffedpod) April 19, 2018
U17s vs. India again. Top row: Cervantes, Barragan, Armour, Garcia, Tolkin, Lopez (captain). Bottom row: Redzic, Gray, Imperato, Pynadath, Stroud.

1-0 win. Reyna scored in the 88th minute. We lined up something like this. Las Scally-Judge-Alejandre-Hernandez Foster Saldana Jasson-Fuentes Serrano-Reyna-Busio https://www.fotball.no/landslag/norge-gutter-16/2018/g16---vi-var-gode-i-dag/#3062331
