Clarke seems to be clear and it has been reported in multiple locations in the last day he was transferred in and loaned out immediately.
Meanwhile, Woolwich FC had their lowball 40 million pound bid for Zaha rejected. I believe 40 million is their total transfer budget. Long live Stan Kroenke!
I saw it in one of the reports. Levy had the fax machine taken out of storage to complete the transfer.
great stuff at white hart lane! hopefully we'll feel all that right after the new season starts! back to nbombele passing abilities, here's what i found out: With 52.22 passes per game at an impressive 89.1% success rate, Ndombele has the ability to cut open sides and manipulate possession. With 8.66 successful passes into the final third, Ndombele is a progressive passer. This is what makes him different to the ex-Spurs man Dembele. Although a player of a similar mold to Ndombele, Dembele preferred to play the ball sideways and wasn’t an expansive or a player who sometimes took risks. Ndombele however, likes to move the ball forward in an attempt to transition his side into attacking phases. from here: https://totalfootballanalysis.com/p...dombele-lyon-tactical-analysis-statistics/amp
Would have been fun to see him partnered with Eriksen in the middle. Dembele and Eriksen were greater than the sum of their impressive parts. Fingers crossed Poch/Levy can find a replacement for Christian, or maybe just bite the bullet, keep him for the season go for broke and lose him in a free next season. Of course the news Eriksen sold his home before the CL final probably means he’s not quite committed to the cause.
As I said before, selling your house is not really an indication of anything. But I did read somewhere he was house hunting in Madrid. That is a different kind of indication, and I'm not pleased.
Lo Celso. The Sessegnon one has been going on for as long as the lad has been alive. Levy could have signed him 2 years ago for 5 million pounds, now it would take around 25 mil.
Don't know if any of you have been following the Copa America, but Juan Foyth looked decent at RB for Argentina, may be an option for us if Trippier is sold as expected.
Juan Foyth sending Philippe Coutinho for a hot dog is just delicious 😍 #COYS https://t.co/FrUGVwvxI6— Talking THFC (@TalkingTHFC) July 3, 2019
Winks and Davies signed new contracts good through summer 2024. Winks has been with Spurs since age 5!
Eriksen reports to pre-season training after Spurs received no bids for him. Real and Juve are interested, but they are both prioritizing Pogba. Stay tuned.
This is one of those deadline day deals involving Spurs I hope ends up in typical fashion - it doesn't happen.
If he goes, we need him to go sooner than later, because PL clubs cannot sign players after August 8th, but the other leagues have until the end of August.
