There were such high hopes for him, and he had a wonderful attitude coming over. Sorry to see that he didn't acclimate well to the league, having such a wonderful CV.
...it also appears that LAFC will sit on the DP spot and not fill it just to fill it. Hopefully they can use it to pry Greitzman away from Spain. James
It's official now: https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/06/10/official-lafc-transfer-midfielder-andre-horta-sc-braga
More than that (think it was 5 mil or so). Effectively they are hoping that he plays well for Braga and another Euro team overpays for him and they make back money on the sell-on fee. He plays his way into an 8 or 10 million fee then they make out on the deal.
Kenny Saief out? https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/06/11/report-kenny-saief-loan-fc-cincinnati-set-end-early Some breaking #FCCincy news from @samstejskal and myself: Kenny Saief's time in the Queen City is up. Sources telling @TheAthleticSCCR that the team is in the process of terminating the U.S. international's loan. https://t.co/qmDjJX8tLH— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) June 11, 2019
It was only a loan till July and considering everything with that team I wasn't expecting them to extend it. He didn't look bad but he wasn't a long term solution and that is sort of what FCC needs to start working on.
And when you're shitty, whiny teammate on top of that, time to go. He wasn't even making the 18 any longer.
Based off everything I've been hearing over the last couple days, the Union are the team in on Andrew Wooten. The deal is not officially done, but it is close. #DOOP— Joe Tansey (@JTansey90) June 20, 2019

The team is off the rest of the week so Tanner, Curtin and Wooten will address media on Tuesday. It’s a TAM deal and he’ll be available when the secondary window opens. #DOOP pic.twitter.com/fPHUMIxXne— Joe Tansey (@JTansey90) June 21, 2019
While I'm glad to see some rumors for us, this looks underwhelming: https://www.racingdealma.com.ar/2019/06/23/un-atacante-de-racing-acordo-su-salida-hacia-otra-liga/
Just been told (reliable source) that while David Silva has stated that he’ll remain at #MCFC for another season, his desire to play in #MLS could prompt a move as early as January. Inter Miami is preferred and likely destination, but Orlando and LA also attractive options.— Eric Krakauer (@EricKrakauer) June 26, 2019
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/07/03/rumor-new-england-revolution-pay-10-million-xolos-forward Is Krafft starting to care about his team?
Sounds like this is almost done. Hearing Gustavo Bou to the New England Revolution should be completed in the coming days. One last hurdle to jump to complete the deal. Big signing for Bruce Arena if finalized. Looking good so far.— Roger Gonzalez (@RGonzalezCBS) July 9, 2019
Boca’s posture regarding Pavón is beginning to change. LA Galaxy offered $12M for 50% of the players rights, plus Boca + Galaxy would have 50 50 rights in the remaining 50%. Pavón’s days at Boca are numbered.Info:@claudiociviello pic.twitter.com/ncN7XhvDJT— Boca in English | Podcast (@CABJ_English) July 9, 2019 This is another rumor that won't die. No idea how they get it done with the 3 DPs they already have, but this rumor has been pretty persistent.
Allesandrini is in the last year of his contract. They could sign him to a new deal that is under 1.5 million and buy him down under TAM. Or they could trade him (yes, I know he is currently injured) to a team like Montreal. But mostly this will come down to what they can do with him since he is the most expendable of the 3 DPs. Also, sort of LA related. Shenzen FC just dropped 13.5 million euros on an almost 30 year old forward from Braga. That has sent Ola Kamara down to their reserve side only 5 months after being bought for around 3 million dollars.
Yep, I also read a recent article from Stejskal on the Athletic that indicates that another option might be to structure the deal as a short term loan with an option to buy. I know it is behind a pay wall, but he does a pretty good job of breaking down both the pathway you mentioned and this one. FWIW, he also says this, "One source said the Galaxy are “reasonably confident” they’ll land Pavon in the secondary transfer window, which runs from July 9th to Aug. 7th." https://theathletic.com/1058168/201...to-fit-boca-juniors-cristian-pavon-on-roster/
A source close to the club has told me 27-year-old Yuki Kobayashi was at the #FCCincy game on Saturday. Kobayashi is a Japanese international midfielder and is available on a free transfer after 3 seasons in the Eredivisie with SC Heerenveen. pic.twitter.com/aX7AWKPI8V— MLS Buzz (@MLS_Buzz) July 9, 2019
Not quite a done deal yet, so still a rumor for now... https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019...nnish-midfielder-robin-lod-tam-signing-source
