I know it doesn't help us for the future but since this team is kind of built for a win now mode, I would look at getting Liam Ridgewell for the team since Portland and him mutually parted ways a few days ago. I know health wise it's been tough for him lately but it could be a great move. That way Lillard can learn from him and slot in if he goes down. It also would depend on price but being an MLS veteran I'd like the move.
With Andy and Nelson at the helm, I really think the Fires championship window is closing. they need to go all in right now!
This is the guy we got the rights to. Not sure if we are even actively signing him though. https://www.transfermarkt.com/amando-moreno/profil/spieler/253573
Can't say Let's see who plays more, he or Rece Buckmaster, the player drafted in the trade spot. I'm not a betting man but the way the Fire acquires talent, I betting on Buckmaster
He's under contract with Red Bull 2 till the end of 2019. It's a USL not an MLS contract , so RB got a draft pick to let us give their USL side a transfer fee?
Rece is an Indiana Fire product.... He wouldn't be HG eligible, but he is a system product none the less
Reports have Frankowski no longer training with Jagiellonia- Guillermo conveyed on Twitter he didn't travel to Turkey with the team . Deal and expected announcement within next few days. I saw elsewhere (Tenorio?) That it's a complicated deal, the two clubs are setting it up as to not hit the Fire in funny money and capspace.
From what I have heard Buckmaster was a HG and the Fire didn’t want to use it on him. So they tried to draft him, he told them He didn’t want to play for the Fire. The League step in and arranged the deal with NYRB.
Defenders? Ya know, like I mean really, starting grade defenders in a league that ups the standard of talent (collectively) each year.
uh, that is what the goalie is for. remember, we have that really talented one that makes for acrobatic saves and was on the national team's roster. his name is.... oh, nevermind.
