Been there, seen that, (but they weren't selling t-shirts). Took some competition worthy (amateur level) photos as well but when I entered them I didn't win anything -- maybe because I submitted them in a package from a photo developing competitor of the sponsor company?
No mas Wayne Rooney in MLS in 2020: https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019...RN9V8cr83ZVXTwaEPdtm6mn-x3kR_ZJ_oyraTIdSdqoX8 He's heading off to be a player-coach for Derby County - very interesting move. From the reports I was hearing prior to this, it sounds like he was getting a lot of pressure from his wife who wanted to raise their kids in the UK. Definitely was fun to watch him play in the league during his stint with DC.
Watching him against Philadelphia, he wasn't making much effort. Perhaps his heart isn't in it anymore.
Two soccer coaches were at Walmart raising money for their soccer team and were shot yesterday. The boys and I are gonna help raise this money for this team to have everything they need for this season! WE NEED YOUR HELP! Breaking News: Real Salt Lake Terminates Contract of Head Coach Mike Petke https://t.co/N0eotK9OGa— Alicia Rodriguez (@soccermusings) August 12, 2019
I missed it - what exactly did Petke say/do to get him in this situation? Was it some sort of epic rant about the officiating like Hudson blaming the lack of talent on his roster for the abysmal record.

Two coaching changes - one team in a playoff position and the other playing 1.2 PPG soccer and in the hunt for a playoff spot - and it took the Rapids forever and a half to ditch Hudson with an MLS career 0.767 PPG record and -39 goal differential?* *Yes, I realize the Petketantrum was a gotta-go-deal, but my point is the endless delay it took the Rapids to make the move.

MLS trivia challenge. With tomorrow's St. Louis expansion announcement, the MLS will have 24 existing teams and four announced expansion teams. Let's see who can be the first with a correct list of the states having two or more MLS teams.
California, Texas, Florida (if you count Miami), and Ohio. Not counting New York since NYRB actually play in New Jersey or Missouri since SKC plays in Kansas
