A player who once told myself and JP Dellacamera that he doesn’t watch MLS, while being in the league, or any other soccer for that matter because it doesn’t interest him is now an interim head coach for the Colorado Rapids.— Marc Connolly (@mconnolly10) May 1, 2019

Good thing the Revs don't need a left back... DC United acquire left back Marquinhos Pedroso from FC Dallas May 3, 2019, 12:49PM EDT Tom Bogert
2 defenders changed hands in the past couple of days. Who knows if Burns had been in touch with these clubs and was trying to get either of them here, but I can't help but think of the comment where other GMs rated Burns as the most difficult to deal with in the whole league. Not to say that either of these guys would have been our difference-makers, but when our GM either isn't on the ball enough to be trying to work with other teams on a deal, is trying but never can close the deal, or worse, isn't trying particularly hard, is it any wonder we're as bad as we are?
Makes you wonder if at this point Burns even gets a courtesy phone call from teams looking to move players, especially when those teams know the Revs are in dire need of the particular talent being shopped around.

Even an expansion team who is sitting below the playoff line finds it unacceptable, and doesn't see it getting better, so they decide to make a change. Must be nice to have such an ambitious ownership who keeps people accountable.
well Koch is no Friedel! Brad was the greatest keeper in US history! He obviously knows what he is doing
