It does look odd. But let's assume they get paid monthly. A half million, divided by 12, then rounded, is $41,666.67 per month. Multiple that by 12 payments, and you get the .04.
... looks like JFC got the $.04 that Castillo didn't - an even 750K for the two of them. Probably salary-cap magic. As for Mancienne, Agudelo and Castillo, I'm not at all convinced they will be gone. First I'd want to know if Mancienne has a guaranteed contract for next year. And, as for the two former USNT players playing for a former USNT coach, I'm not sure Arena wants to dump them.
I think Bruce is smart enough to know he can put Mancienne's salary to better use. Re-signing Agudelo to 600k was a huge mistake by Burns/Brad. I would first expose Castillo, Agudelo and Mancienne in the MLS expansion draft in hopes one gets taken then release the two that remains. Castillo probably stands the best chance of being taken. Juan and Mancienne just make too much money for what they produce
