So we play at LA Galaxy on June 1, and then nothing until the 26 when we're home to Philly? Well, I guess there's no excuse for not playing the first team in the Open Cup, assuming that the first game will fall somewhere in that window.

Huge 24-day layoff from Jun 2-25, hopefully coinciding with a nice USOC run...

With 24 teams, we now get a "balanced" schedule, meaning one game against each of the 12 Western Conference Teams, and home-and-away with the other 11 teams in the Eastern Conference.

Interesting take on the schedule's impact to the value of Revs' season ticket package over recent years.

Yikes, this is definitely a concern

    So brutal but true

This is an important point - the Revs end the season with some hard games.

25 days off in June? looks like Brad and Mike asked the soccer gods for time off to start the summer to break that summer swoon that happens around that time every year!:D

I'm not all that thrilled with 6 homes games in March and April, which ... well, we're New Englanders, so we know what the weather's like up here.

The last four games are a brutal stretch. This team's playoff hopes could be decided by the June break sadly. Because if they're going into those last four games needing points, we're most likely in a lot of trouble.

Once again, 0 home games on National TV. The league basically considers us an embarrassment. And no one in the Revs FO, especially not the owners, give $0.02.

The entire league is off from Jun 9 to 21.
Week 15 (Jun 5-8) only 10 of the 24 teams are playing
Week 16 (Jun 22-23) only 12 of the 24 teams are playing

If I am counting right, there are only 31 weeks in the regular season. There were 35 last year.

Makes sense when you look at the list of teams with mostly Saturday night games. All struggling at the gate. Most of the others, where they generally know people are going to show up no matter what ... they've got the schedules that are more open.
