As for the poor field conditions:

New sod was laid over the winter. Unless you have a type of grass that grows in cold weather (and will be brown all summer) you are stuck with bringing in green grass from a warmer climate - it can tolerate cold weather and still stay green while it is cold but it will not really put down roots until the ground gets warmer. As a result you are stuck with a rather thick carpet until then.

I'm not a landscaper or turf scientist, but I hope that the "carpet" doesn't get damaged to the point that it can no longer put down roots before the weather is warm enough for it to be able to do so.

Can we get a giant green tifo that says 12th man on it now? Or maybe just hang one of those turf welcome mats on the rail somewhere behind the net?

I hope Wagner doesn't get extra games tacked onto his suspension by the league office. Regardless of intent, that tackle could have broken an ankle or leg, and if they gave Marco Fabian an extra game for trying to avoid stomping on an opponent, I wouldn't be completely shocked if they do the same for Wagner.

I would give him an extra game off just for leaving his feat in the 90' minute of a game where you're up by 3.

The Wagner lunge was a moment of madness, absolutely idiotic. I have no doubt he'll be suspended an extra match.
