We're back to 3rd in PPG and there's still a lot of season left to drop down the table.

I think they'll not only win this game, but against Atlanta as well.

I think we'll see a classic Union collapse the third week of September to break our hearts after raising them up.

    Rollercoaster Union win this one.

Looking forward to more open games down the stretch. Spare us another Houston or Chicago. Guess Olsen could go negative here but when he tries that against us it always seems to go wrong.

There is no way this team beats Atlanta. I'll just say it. Even at home.

Need to get 3 points. The last 6 games after this will be brutal.

Rooney just received a Red Card against Red Bulls..........likely suspended for Saturday's game unless DCU appeals.

Who would have thought that going off to the media about MLS refs being crap might have consequences? Soft red in my opinion but I think PRO is sending a message. Even if they appeal I suspect the PRO rep on DisCo would not agree on overturning the red so no Rooney at Talen this weekend

This team has a weird ability to always miss their cue. Big road wins? Check. Play down to a weak opponent? Check. Gut out wins in ugly fashion? Check. Get goals from random players like Elliott? Checkaroo.

Every one will assume a W after the 5-1. I think 2-2. The Rooney transfer news came out right after the game, and DC never looked ready. I think they knew Rooney was leaving and we caught them with their heads down. Now they’re ready for some shitty Benny ball soccer.

    DCU w/o Rooney in last 4 games - 1-0-0 +1GD

No Rooney for this one. Maybe I'm overestimating my choice for an easy win.

I love how Ed just finds a way to bring the optimism and positivity. ;)

But seriously, when we look good it's like we can beat anyone. Hopefully that's the Union team that shows up tonight.

Guess no one watched the second half.

Must be progress, there was a time when a 3-0 lead was not secure.

This team just lacks mental toughness/resiliency. They either look fantastic or crap.

8 of the Union's 51 goals this year have come in their 2 games against DCU.

And 8 of DCU's 38 goals allowed on the year were courtesy of the Union.
