I leave on vacation that day and will not be at this match or even have access to watch it. Enjoy the match.

I'll be away as well. Am sorry to miss the game especially since they seem to be on the roll. So much fun to watch the team this year (except for the 4-0 losses...)!

Assuming we get Monteiro starting and Ilsinho off the bench at around the 65 min mark, I'm going with win.

Wonder if Wenger will be coming back for alumni night? He can dribble the ball out of bounds unchallenged in the alumni vs. U7 game at halftime.

If he actually did that on purpose just for the lols, I'd respect and love him for eternity.

Hey all. We're looking for two extra tickets to the game, but not River End. Anyone who can't make the game, let me know if you'd like to sell your tickets. Thanks. :)

I can never forgive him for magically turning into a lockdown defender in the Open Cup Final for 90 minutes.

Who do you guys think would win in a match between a team of normal sized Wengers and a team of mini Rooneys?

This has to be a win. Houston is playing at NYCFC tomorrow night and then staying to play the Union. With a full roster and a week to prepare, the Union have a significant advantage.

On the other hand, Houston is only 3 points out of the final playoff spot having played one less game so this is a "make or break" week for them. Two wins and they're in a playoff spot. Two losses and the season may be over.

Elis is suspended for tomorrow's game due to yellow card accumulation so he should be fresh for Sunday. Andrew Wenger will not play against NYCFC either. . .

Well Houston's useless, couldn't hang on against NYCFC and dropped all 3 points. At least Quioto will be suspended for the game on Sunday due to his Red Card.

Away from home and little internet connection but Haris looks like he is "still loading" when getting back on defense even though every one else is still playing. No attempt to step to the player he clearly has responsibility for on the goal. Even after the ball was passed to Ramirez he made no effort to close down.

I know that is what you get with him but man is it irritating to watch it time after time.

All I can see are the highlights they put up on MLS but stat wise it looks like the Union are getting out played so far.

2-1 thanks to Elliot's persistence. He had an earlier goal called back for offside, though they didn't show a replay.

2-1 final - a lot harder than it needed to be.

They sure bumbled their way to that one. Not that I care, I'll still take.

My soccer IQ is too low, but this one looked like same ol' same ol' from the Union. I really don't think Jim knows how to coach offensive tactics. We lucked out on the first goal and the second was scored with Houston down a man. We cannot move the ball forward with any consistency.

Houston went down a man AFTER the Union's second goal.......

Ugly win, but 3 pts is 3 pts. Good teams find a way to win even when they don't play their best.

Next week's game will be very difficult.
