He was more regal and precise than the guy for whom he subbed on, but not as much fun to watch, seldom fighting or playing the paramour.

Oh I agree. I dont actively support Austin Bold. Just want to see something Anti-precourt thrive. My soccer supporter energy goes to The Crew, Toledo Villa (NPSL) and any team we get in the future, then whatever Cleveland has going on (currently Cleveland SC in NPSL, Cleveland Force in USL-C in the future)....all in that order.
I dont believe the name has been officially announced but the ownership group owns the rights to the name Force, and they're company is Force Sports. They stated that they were in the process of starting up a USL team in an article from a Cleveland business news site...but I dont believe the owners or USL has made a formal, official announcement. It's all been verified by one of the owners here on Big Soccer actually...he has an account and has been fairly accessible and responded to some comments and questions from me and others. A report just came out of a potential location for a soccer specific stadium near downtown Cleveland as well this past month although I dont know whether it's reliable or just a rumor yet. Check out the thread in USL expansion forum.
I’ll check that thread when I have time. I’m assuming that when you say “ownership group” that it is a different ownership group than the Haslams/Edwards?

They've got 19 of the 22 teams that advanced into the 3rd round. Indy got a red card early in the first half, but still hung on to beat Lansing, so they must be happy with their win. Adam Jahn scored for Phoenix, but it wasn't enough. Of the 3 lower league teams that advanced, 2 of them actually tied and went through on PKs. Only the pink flamingos from up in Madison actually picked up a win over a USL-C team. They did it with style though, scoring 3 on the road.

I wonder how many fans will go to the Austin-San Antonio rivalry match in Austin. They're obviously playing in a soccer hotbed from everything we heard over the last 18 months.
Yeah theres no connection to Haslams/Edwards....at least not that have been mentioned or even alluded to anywhere. The guys starting the team are brothers Greg and Shaw Abrams who own Force Sports, which has different sports academies and youth leagues and what not around the Cleveland area. The report about the stadium location mentioned there may be other investors as well but thats not for certain yet.
In case this wasn't answered, ESPN+ is broadcasting US Open Cup games: http://www.espn.com/soccer/united-s...+-signs-deal-to-broadcast-us-open-cup-matches
Florida Soccer Soldiers and Indy Eleven are out. Eric Wynalda's team down 2-0 early. Draw tomorrow at 11am.
Las Vegas lost. Austin won. No hints yet as to the other 3 teams in the Crew's pod. Could be Cincy, Louisville, and Chicago. Could be DC, Philly, and Pittsburgh/North Carolina.
#Crew96 will play either DC, Philly, or Pittsburgh in the next round of the #USOC2019. https://t.co/dWiTdPz5H6— Patrick Guldan (@GuldanMR) May 30, 2019 DC/Philly/Pittsburgh
so then, Chicago and Cincy are guaranteed USL opponents, while we have a 1-in-3 chance of DC, Philly, or Pittsburgh

There is an increased chance our open cup of sorrows will be staved off for an additional week or two.
