By the way, that match report is a fun trip down memory lane. Some names in there I haven't though of in a while.

I hope they lose. Winning would require them to waste energy preparing for this stupid thing. Play the academy kids.

None of the players who have first time minutes this season should play in this game.

8 players will be away for international duty. Of the remaining starters, I would assume that most will play the first half in order to get game minutes and not have a two week layoff.

I'm skipping... my co-ticket holders bailed and it's not worth the effort getting other people to go. Listed my tickets on stubhub for dirt cheap. This thing is a waste of time... but hey, at least it looks like it will be a nice night.

So did Pumas send a B team too? 3-0 and I saw there were a couple red cards.

That was fun. Wouldn't be shocked if Miscic is signed to a home grown deal in the near future.

Next season...Wooten and Kacper are gonna score buckets of goals. Wooten is still in preseason form, but he makes fantastic runs and gets in the right spots.

Fontana has really improved as well. Real showed very well too. The present and future looks bright.

I felt like Pumas failed to compete. Other than their Paraguayan international who was really good (and who chopped down Fafa and deserved his straight red), they didn’t seem to care. There were a lot of Pumas fans in attendance, and I would have been embarrassed if that were my team. Nevertheless, it was fun to see some of the younger Union players get an opportunity to play at Talen.

I've never heard of a red card in a friendly before!Did Pumas have to play down a man the rest of the match?

Yes - Red card was near end of 1st half, so 2nd half was 11 vs 10.
