Jamaica are a fun team to watch, if not more a little rough around the edges. It'd be more enjoyable to watch them if I didn't have to worry about playing them in the semi again.

It's too bad VAR technology isn't advanced enough to be used in tournaments. There was a number of times it would have been beneficial in this game.

This time, the pk ricochets off the post directly back to the penalty taker who touches it. Despite France putting the ball in the net, it's no goal because the penalty taker touched it twice without anyone else touching it. These new rules ...

I can't tell if that's a joke or not, but that's been the rule for a while.

Digging the view of the inside of my home stadium. Yes, it's a proud moment.

 

I learned a PK didn't count when a guy accidentally kicked it off his other foot before it went toward the goal. In this case the ball hit the post before the shooter's second touch, but if the LOTG (Laws of the Game) say it must touch another player before the kicker touches it a second time, it's black-and-white to not count the goal.

 

I can already see this Trinidad team absolutely torching Trapp/Bradley on the counter.

Still, we should beat both of these teams if we show up with any quality.

 

This game isn't quite holding my attention.

 

They should play the Loon screech for the Nats tonight. If they don't win big it's because they didn't play the loon screech.
