Three road wins from the first five road matches is an excellent start. I tried to fool ESPN+ into thinking I lived somewhere else but it didn't work. All Minnesota sporting events are blackouts for me so I cannot see the Loons again this season like last. Bummer.

The good news is that I have an excuse for not watching the Twins or the Wild.

    WTH is a Wild?

That Miggy might not playin the home opener makes me sad. That, and the possibility of 20+ inches of snow this week.

I still get pretty upset at our brain farts.

In terms of the stadium, and this may change with each passing game, but the concourse is a nightmare during half time. Way too narrow.

That is a PALACE you've got there folks. Congrats. Y'all came across ridiculously well/loud on the broadcast and the whole thing looked simply wonderful.

    Bravo.

When the game was close and we were talking about who would come on I was so happy to think we actually have a bench this year. After the game and red cards I now think we're really going to need that bench next game to start the match.

I'm wondering when Heath will take the Captain's armband away from Calvo and give it to Alonso...

That defense is still,.....just putrid. How Heath keeps on giving the captain's arm band to one of his worst performing players is astonishing. Kallmann, Boxall, and Calvo are not the answer for us. Just awful how they get caught out on the counter/transition.

I feel a lot better after not losing this home game then I did about not losing the other home game.

Romain Metanire may be the Stealth pickup of the year in the entire league.

We need another quality centerback to pair with Ike. Kallman was an improvement (hey, no goals!) but that goes to show what a weak link Boxall is. Miller did well in his first start, and it was good to see Molino back, even if the rust was obvious. The attack was creating chamces, we just couldn't put it in.

Oh, and Abu Danladi's first touch has reached Gyasi Zardes levels. For those who are wondering, that's not a good thing.
