Leyva is going to make a lot of money. Already an excellent 2-way player at 15, and pulling off some special plays. Back-to-back spinaroonis around defenders to start attacks.

Us disposes Panama in the midfield. Yow and Ocampo-Chavez combine and Ocampo-Chavez plays in Yow who's shot is saved. Ocampo-Chavez collects the rebound and is fouled for a PK. Reyna converts 2-0 US 60'
There must be a massive difference between the first half and this half (missed the first half), because we look head and shoulders above this Panama team. Our passing, movement, finishing has looked great. I don't understand people hating on this team, but this is one of the better U-17 sides I've ever seen from the US. Leyva is a player, and people have been hating on him too.
Panama commits a late foul for no reason. That's their way of giving up. I expect a couple more yellows this game.
No real difference at all. Dominated the first half too, just nobody that could finish, stay cool under pressure, play a final ball, or hit a free kick. US is fine, but to be honest, this Panama team is horrendous. Looks like they've never played soccer before.
We're just better than the other teams in this tournament. If we play up to our talent level, we should see off Canada next game, and we should beat Mexico (assuming they get there) in the Final. There's nobody on that Mexican team that scares me, Efra or otherwise.
That was an easy ball to pick out by Leyva, but a lot of players don't get the curl or weight right to put their teammate 1 v. 1 w/ the keeper at a good angle. So there was some skill to it. Another contribution to a goal by him, and he's been an asset to the defense. MOTM, although Saldana has been an unsung hero. So tidy and snuffing out opposing attacks. Gotta make Pepi feel relieved to get off the schneid. Now a weight has been lifted.
