Comunicaciones and San Carlos take the two Champions League slots for quarterfinal losers. Only the MLS Cup slot remains to complete the Champions League field.

Philadelphia would be next in line on the Shield table at the moment to take a spot if that happens but there are a couple of other teams still alive. The CONCACAF League order can also change. I just put them in the current standings order. They have all clinched qualification.
Seattle jumped over Philadelphia on the final day to get in position for the backdoor CCL slot if one of the already-qualified teams or Toronto wins MLS Cup. Of course they can also qualify directly by winning MLS Cup themselves.

A small anecdote for any reading Toronto fans. After playing the 2018 CCL final Sebastian Giovinco will play the 2019 Asian Champions League final next month with Al Hilal against Japan's Urawa Red Diamonds.
So Seattle are big Atlanta/LAFC fans right? Assuming those two win tonight, then they'll be guaranteed a spot in the CCL from what I can gather (LAFC/Atlanta have already qualified, Toronto can't qualify due to being Canadian and Seattle will obviously qualify if they win the cup).
Btw, the CCL draw is on December 9: https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/10/10/concacaf-champions-league-2020-draw-set-december-9

We'll have to wait a bit to see which USA slot they will occupy. It doesn't make a huge difference because all of the USA teams should be in the higher seeded pot for the tournament draw.
That also has the schedule. The CCL will use 8 of 12 midweeks. Every round will have legs on consecutive weeks. There's one midweek off between the Round of 16 and Quarterfinals, two midweeks off between the Quarterfinals and Semifinals during which time national teams play, and one midweek off between the Semifinals and Final. The Semifinals will be on April 7 to 9 and 14 to 16. With Yankee Stadium needing 3 days to be converted, the only one of those date NYCFC could host is April 14, with the Yankees returning home on April 17, and even that could be hard because the conversion couldn't start until April 15, and the field should be ready for baseball by midday on April 17. NYCFC could have to play at Citi Field or somewhere else if they get that far. Yankee Stadium is unavailable for both legs of the Final.
This is the US' strongest ever lineup. Supporters Shield standing (W-D-L) LAFC 1st (21-9-4) NYC 2nd (18-10-6) Atlanta 3rd (18-4-12) Seattle 4th (16-8-10) Mexico will have: América 3rd (7-7-2) León 5th (7-5-2) UANL 6th (6-6-2) Cruz Azul 12th (3-8-4) Unfortunately for Canada they'll just have Montreal (12-5-17)
The Apertura regular season is not over yet but it looks like Monterrey may head to Doha for the CWC without Liguilla (playoffs).
That's one advantage the US has with multiple spots - they can select with, in part, longer term performance evaluations like the Shield winner. Fair to Montreal, they won the Canadian Championship, but I don't think their actually our best side.
And since the Mexican FA, for reasons unknown, still have not adjusted their qualifying they are also not sending their "best" (i.e. the finalists of the ongoing Apertura season concluding in December will instead qualify for the 2021 CCL.)
2019 CONCACAF League Semifinals Home team first, times are ET Second leg results: First Leg Thursday, October 24 CD Olimpia (HON) 2-0 Deportivo Saprissa (CRC) Alianza FC (SLV) 1-1 FC Motagua (HON) Second Leg Thursday, October 31 FC Motagua (HON) 3-0 Alianza FC (SLV) Motagua advances on aggregate, 4-1. Deportivo Saprissa (CRC) 4-1 CD Olimpia (HON) Saprissa advances on aggregate, 4-3. Final Thursday, November 17 Deportivo Saprissa (CRC) v. FC Motagua (HON) 9:00 pm Thursday, November 26 FC Motagua (HON) v. Deportivo Saprissa (CRC) 9:00 pm
The CCL draw will be on December 9, and the Apertura playoffs won't be done by then, so eliminating the lag would mean convincing Concacaf to postpone the draw or doing the draw before all the clubs are known.
Edited: I think this is correct. 2019 CONCACAF League Home team first, times are ET Final Thursday, November 7 Deportivo Saprissa (CRC) v. FC Motagua (HON) 9:00 pm Tuesday, November 26 FC Motagua (HON) v. Deportivo Saprissa (CRC) 10:00 pm
Toronto FC adamant they deserve CCL spot if they win MLS Cup: https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019...ant-they-deserve-ccl-spot-if-they-win-mls-cup Uhm - no. Either you qualify out of the USSF or the CSA. You can't have it both ways.
That article is click bait. None of the TFC players say they deserve it, they just say it would be nice if they could. Everyone recognizes why they don't get in that way.
With Seattle guaranteeing themselves a spot in CCL, I guess that means the 8 slots for the Leagues Cup next year is also determined right (top 4 teams from each conference that aren't going to the CCL)? From the East: a) Philadelphia b) Toronto c) DC United d) NY Redbulls From the West: a) Real Salt Lake b) Minnesota c) LA Galaxy d) Portland Looks like the Revolution missed out playing in it by 3 points, while Dallas missed out by just a point (not looking at any tiebreakers). So that still gives teams in the playoff hunt something to play for near the end of the season...however I'm not seeing a way the bottom half of each conference can stay engaged near the end (but then again that's maybe what they get for being sucky).
