    Interested to see Cannon, Djordje, and Lewis. Kind of wish it was with the actual first team, but I suppose we might as well see the first team get some rest with the weather as sauna-like as it is tonight in KC.

    Whelp... my desire to watch just took a nosedive.

    Edit: Let me rephrase. My *excitement* took a nosedive. I'll watch, but this is a very unexciting lineup.

    My wife wants to watch the Debate, and I'd rather stab myself than watch that live. Maybe I'll see if any of the local bars are playing it with sound.

    Full squad rotation. Honestly, I'm glad. Jozy needs to put the ball in the net, and it gives Lewis, Morris, and Miazga a chance to ball out, which will help us later in the tourney.

    That’s actually a pretty interesting idea. Yugoslavia basically got to do that for a while and all those countries broken up are still some of the best in the world.

    I don’t know if I’d want to combine with South America. Sure, qualifying would be more interesting as would the random tournaments. But we would also miss the World Cup most of the time. As would Mexico. Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, etc would dominate.

    Besides Weston, Pulisic and Steffen this is probably the exact same quality on the field as previous games and is probably an upgrade in central defense.

    Reward those that failed for 2018 with Bradley in game 1. Being genuine here, where our squad would have been for the world cup probably would have been much more embarrassing than missing out

    Maybe the second half could at least be worth watching. CP, Mckennie, Boyd or the like get subbed in minute 60 to keep fresh?

    Got me there. I have it on in the background while listening to a podcast and doing other stuff. I just check the score. If the debate had a scoreboard, maybe I'd do the same...

    With that lineup they have taken the chance of complaining away. No matter how bad it goes they will say "it was just to rest the starters" and if they win and play well they will say "see how deep Greg B has made the US. We win easily with the entire second team." This has taken a lot of fun out of the game, nothing to complain about. :( :p:sick::mad:

    Didn't expect full rotation but with weather, travel, time between matches, yellow cards, etc., why not.

    This is going to depend a lot on Mihailovic and Roldan having much better games than those horrible friendlies.

    He had patches of orange skin on his face. Looks like he was dipping into the Trump tanning cream...

    He rotated to rest players and give them a look in a virtually meaningless match, so in the big picture it's a very good lineup.

    My only critique is I wouldn't have used that cb pairing because they are too similar stylistically and a breakdown could start from there offensively and defensively. CB's don't need as much of a rest, so Long could have played beside Miazga.

    They've rotated. Backup GK, rotation in midfield, defense, and attack.

    Not as heavily as USA but they also made changes from game 1 and game 2.
