Can Son be at his best in a 4-2-3-1 system?

    -------------HUJ
    SHM------LCY------HHC
    ----------HIB---JSJ
    KJS---KYG---KMJ---KMH
    ------------CHW

I'd put LCY in the middle since he works well in tight spaces. LSW should act as a Super Sub for LCY in the 2nd half since the opponent will get fatigued and his energy and pace can overcome their defense.

LSW's game is better designed as a shadow striker or a CAM. Except he needs to pack on some weight and strength to be effective in the middle. His future is definitely not as a winger.

He was one of the few that were attacking when the rest were fatigued.

Shadow striker would make sense with that aggression of his.

its always the same story. undersized strikers have to prove that they belong in the centre not out wide. you dont get the opportunity until you show you can play there

Sure, LSW wasnt that good, but he was still far more useful than JDW.

Don't confuse activity for effectiveness. He was running around like a (gaunt) headless chicken.

Yeah.. Sadly when I was at the FC Seoul vs Busan 2nd leg of the relegation match, I looked over to Busan's supporters side and literally saw every K League team represented there. They all wanted us to be relegated and said we deserve to have the Seoul derby (vs E-Land), have Super Match with Suwon FC rather than Suwon Samsung Bluewings and have a derby with FC Anyang in K League 2

I was on the lsw hype train for sub appearance but honestly his performance was pretty bad. If MSM did the same thing, yall and I would of gave him so much shit too for running around like a headless chicken.

Most people here in BSK are still riding onto LSW's hype train that started from his Barcelona days.

He's not even the top prospect or top 2-3 prospect right now. Lee Kang-In is the one we should be really excited about, followed by Jung Woo-Yeong

He at least shot multiple times even tho it was off the target + made a bunch of dangerous freekicks while JDW did nothing. He also won the ball multiple times by "running like a headless chicken".

JDW had like one good run, otherwise I have no idea what he offers the team.

I'd like to know what was going through Bento's mind when he picked JDW over SHJ.

If not LSW, I'd rather have Koo on the pitch than JDW.

I think HHC plays more like a midfielder to me, so why not?

I don't think there was enough minutes to judge LSW to be fair.

but within minutes coming in and took a shot, bit wild but I thought that set the tone for the rest of the game for us. That was rather refreshing

Go Yo-han is definitely an upgrade over Lee Yong and Hong Chul. Actually offers something when going forward.

Ha Dae-sung and Shin Jin-ho would have been useful when they were in their prime, but they are definitely past that now. Ha Dae-sung is an intelligent player, but he has been injury prone ever since he went overseas.

Yang Han-bin would be great, but I rather see Kang Hyun-moo with the NT.

Ko Yohan played very well for us at RB (even at DM) and to this day I still have no idea why Lee Yong (or anyone else for that matter) kept getting selected over him...

Led Yong had the most assists in the K League last season. That wasn't going to be unnoticed. I agree tho that he is not helping the KNT and only good for Jeonbuk and their bbung Chuk goo style.

Dude had 1 shot and 1 cross in 68 mins totally so far. Besides that he brought zero impact as a sub. An out-of-form HEJ is still above him.
