"Were you eager to discover him? Here he is: lucid, aggressive, clean and diligent. A pleasant news (for Bologna)".

People will begin to look at him if he keep playing good. It's too early but maybe he can emulate Nagatomo and move to a bigger team just in the winter window.
Wouldn't it make sense for him to establish himself on the team and develop? Once he gets more comfortable with the team, strategy, and league, he will pick up more accolades to help leverage for future opportunities. It's not like he is playing for a 2nd or 3rd division team in a crapshoot league, he is starting on a team in Serie A. Plus, he is only 20 years old, he isn't in any hurry to move to a bigger team. We've seen too many great young players being traded to bigger teams, only to initially start, but then gets demoted to backup duties and essentially halt their development. Having confidence in a player is great, but some fans are way too ambitious.
Nearly scored by a header from a CK he won. He is the best Bologna player in the first 2 matches so far, and the fans are cheering him whenever he touches the ball.
Si. I wonder how the careers of the likes of Usami and Kakitani would have been end up if they had enough guts like Tomiyasu.
This team don’t know how to put the ball into the net, the seems sound defensively and in midfield but lacking the final touch.
Wow, first time I saw a player booked for removing his shirt after scoring a goal which was then called off for offside. Too bad as the move was set up by Tomiyasu winning a 50-50 duel in the attacking third.

Nessuna incertezza in un campionato maggiore dopo le eccellenti prove in Belgio. ... and they won! 1-0 win for Bologna in a hard-fought match in which they have 10-1 shots on goal and heroic saves from SPAL’s goalkeeper Berisha and bad luck prevent them from winning the match with a much comfortable scoreline. A great game agains by Tomiyasu, he nearly scored, won many duels, done some great covering, and he only made one mistake when couldn’t control an easy ball in the first half and it bounced to a corner-kick for SPAL.
Nagatomo was great for Cesena, he even won some prize from the city's major (the steel seahorse, symbol of the team), won the Asian Cup with Zac and in january he moved to tremble's winner Internazionale FC. Anyway it was just a suggestion. If Bologna will keep this pace they will be this season surprise for sure.
Cesena got Nagatomo on-loan from FC Tokyo, so they don’t have the right to prevent him from being loaned out or sold to another club, unlike Tomiyasu who was bought by Bologna by 7 or 8 million euros (I don’t remember the amount exactly). Hence, they will not let him leave to another Serie A rival easily (especially in the next winter transfer window).
Probably not but if a big team need some reinforcement in defence he could be a good choice. Let's see.
Seeing this lad I feel like we have a new Nakazawa. Only to remember this guy is still only 20.....oh my goodness..this is so great. This generation we have so many CBs.
