Feels better than Betis. Little surprised though.

    Agreed.
I guess he wanted to secure playing time for a couple of more seasons, especially considering his age. But hey, if he performs well in Eibar he could move again. Less likely because he's older now, but still possible.

Scored a goal today, but his goal was disallowed due to a hand ball from one of his teammates which preceded the goal by a VAR decision.

Just few minutes after the cancellation of his goal through the VAR he provided the assist for the 2-0 goal.

Second consecutive win for Eibar and second win of the season too, as the team moved closer to mid-table.

Very lively game from Inui, and good to see him back in form.

Assist for Inui, after cool exchanges of passes between him and two of his team-mates, which eventually saw him passed the ball to Orellana who curled the ball into the goal.

Eibar was 2-0 behind when Inui was introduced around the 83rd minute, and he provided the aforementioned assist with less than a minute of his introduction.

He was lively and created some dangerous chances for his teammates, but it was too late for Eibar to avoid the defeat.

He finally managed to get himself invovled in a notable action for the first time since the resumption of the league.

He won his team a PK, which gave them the 0-1 lead, and then they doubled their lead through another PK before HT.

With Mallorca's defeat, Eibar secured their stay in the La Liga for next season.

Inui seems not motivated this season, the fire and drive he shown in previous seasons for Eibar are vanished.

It is noteworthy how the destinies, contributions, and performances of players such as Inui, Kagawa, Shibasaki, and Shoji have all went south after the 2018 World Cup, where they all had great performances.

Not sure if it's affected him on the pitch, but Inui has had rumors of an affair with Yukina Kinoshita circling around online...

He deserved it. He had two shots blocked by the defence and was actively involved in Eibar's attacking attempts.

This makes sense, and might be a valid justification for his lack of motivation, if it is true.
