I had read the Rapids were training after the end of the season. Good to see that many of the veterans were participating. And it's also interesting that Abubakar was in one of the photos. ✅ Three great weeks of training sessions🔜 2020 preseason#Rapids96 | #Elevate— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) November 2, 2019 Have the Rapids done this before?
From Tommy Smith: “Contract negotiations are underway with Colorado and it looks likely that that will be get done, which is great for me personally." He's training with Ipswish Town in preparation for some friendlies with NZ. Yes. I remember after on season (2012?) Casey got pissed at the coach and stormed out. I don't know if they do it ever year or not.
Three and out for the U-17s at the World Cup, Anderson got 0 minutes of play time in Brazil. Though given what a defensive disaster the World Cup was that might have been in his favor.
That confirms the Rapids didn't pick up his option and are trying to bring him back at a lower number.
He did seem to enjoy that "Guess what day it is" video. I thought he might make a good front office guy as well.
I'm ready Fleming and Moor has me intrigued. Then again who knows if altitude will ever broadcast another game...
Rankings. #MLS #MLSCup pic.twitter.com/KVISMTicTL— Miki Turner (@turneresq) November 4, 2019 Not that we would expect anything different but the Rapids are bottom of the league for Club Value. Bottom for revenue and operating at minus 5 mill Dollars

That was my first thought, but according to the league they're not completely unimportant... "Teams and the league don’t disclose their finances, but MLS has acknowledged that it is not profitable as a whole. League spokesman Dan Courtemanche told The Athletic via email that the Forbes data is useful. “Regarding profitability, some MLS teams are profitable while others are not. The Forbes team valuations are a good barometer to gauge which teams are profitable,” Courtemanche said." https://theathletic.com/1323054/201...ague-soccer-hint-its-not-really-losing-money/
Sure, and I'm not going to argue that the Rapid are actually first when they show up last int he list. But I've already seen 3 different people talk about how the Rapids are in last in the league, yet that Forbes measurement has consistently been unable to deal with the way KSE has the Rapids set up (merchandising run under another company, stadium rental run under a third company, field rental under a fourth, etc.). Yet every year this list gets rolled out and we hear the same thing about the Rapids being near or at the bottom of the list. Mainly because the income sources many other teams have are actually income sources for other parts of KSE.
