I think it was very telling that he was not called up for the March friendlies (only as an alternate) But I suppose he could still sneak unto the roster.
He was great at Nacional and in Mexico gets named to the team of the week a lot. He has left a ton to be desired in yellow tho. As for better options we are talking about Uribe, Lerma being our back up RB for Arias so not even having a backup RB is alarming.
And in the U-17 team he played as a defensive midfielder. He is pretty mediocre at a bunch of positions.
What hurt us was Machados and the kid that went to Ajax are taking a long time to adapt to their new teams. They could have been our back ups. How is Machado even doing?
