His call up is fkn weak and he still hasn't learned that you have to have players that can carry a team like Gio or Vela. Layun and Paul are fkn kamikazes and combined with Herrera's refusal to defend or stay in the midfield we are fkd when we play more talented teams. Hector Herrera has been the biggest problem in the team with his flat out refusal to stay back or help defend. He floats constantly forward and exposes the defense because there is no way Guardado can man the midfield by himself. What irritates me so much is how Herrera actually avoids defending like he's a fkn forward when he sucks offensively. Herrera's best qualities are his engine and defensive ability not his idiotic ability to blast Salcido hail mary's. Gio, Vela, and Jonas should have been called up. This is not an important game but those three should be called up if they aren't injured. People that hate on Gio are fkn ingrates that ignore how critical he's been to our teams success the last 7-8 years. Lol, Yasser, Molina, and stupid Duenas being constant call ups when all three suck ass. Candido Ramirez, Angel Sepulveda, Angel Zaldivar, and Martin Barragan are basically completely unknown so it will be interesting to see if they get any playing time. What's sad is how long it takes for Mexican players to get a shot at the big leagues. 25 years old is when players should be hitting their peak not barely establishing themselves as big time players.
Only thing worthwhile is checking out the new forwards that have been called Gotta say though, after the shit tournaments we had (Copa America & Olympics) I'm sort of in a "I don't give a shit" phase with the NT
I am not going to lie and act like I knew who those forwards were before the call up but they're 25 and don't have impressive scoring numbers.
Mexico on paper shouldn't have a problem with this line-up, against El Salvador. I'm curious what formation/players, Osorio is going to use for this upcoming game.

That's a good fit, maybe he could fix the makeshift defense that's plagued the team over the last 10 years. Seriously, La Volpe was probably the last manager that got the team to defend well.

Its almost astonishing to see how we like to commit the same idiotic mistakes over and over again regardless if we have a know it all Mexican coach, or a foreign coach for that matter. I mean its almost as if the more a player fu@# up, the more of a candidate he will be to get called up again.........and again........................and well again. I'm watching as always and I hope I see some new faces get some run. Especially the younger players. Also want to see Rulas start, he deserves it. He is unfairly underrated by many.
