The problem is attempting to define everything, and the candidates, into a simple yes or no stance about so nebulous a word as "change." I would like some things changed but I hardly believe the sky is falling, which is why I find it scary when people get all riled up about wanting "change" as if everyone knew exactly what that meant and everyone wanting it wanted the exact same thing, which would be incorrect. So long as people reduce their political pitch to simplistic buzz words they will catch the enthusiasm of some but skepticism of everyone else.
