My Dynamo should better sell out the Open Cup Final or else it will look really bad on national TV and for my home city as a great sports town. Also, I think this the 1st time that two cities who’s other pro sports teams won trophies in the past 12 months. The Astros won the World Series and the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

I know I came late to the party and many questions I have, have already being answered or discussed before. But why does the USOC have extra time when teams play the weekend before and will play again after? LAFC and Houston played this past weekend, played today including extra time plus will play again this coming Saturday. That is too much for players when they should just skip extra time and go straight to penalties to avoid extra wear on the players. And dammit! I really wanted to see LAFC in CCL. They seem to build a pretty strong team for being their first year. Those injuries really are affecting the team. I kind of had a feeling Dynamo was going to spoil the fun. Out of the 4 teams left, I felt LAFC had it made to win the USOC.
If Espn hasn't yet decided whether or not to show the final, they'll be leaning towards 'no' now. Bad teams, and no guarantee of a decent crowd.
I'm rooting for Houston, at least their stadium has a better chance of being full/entertaining due to their closer proximity south of the border...
Philly can do damage IF they remain hot. When they are not, they are frustrating to watch because they will outplay the opposition but they end up losing anyway.
That was a long time ago. I'd like to think we could get back there however. And I desperately miss international action.
Houston does seem like an entirely different club post AEG. Even the great playoff crowds have dwindled...
It would be the Union's first time in international competition. I'd love to see them in the tournament, anchored at the back by their 19-20 year old CBs.
You do realize that the only team we can score on is Chicago*? We have played them 3 times this year and scored 10 goals. We have been not so good against pretty much everyone else. I think we have 25 against every other MLS team combined (22 games I believe). * we did drop 3 on Houston but there were some extenuating circumstances in that game that probably won't repeat themselves in the final.
