He's awful, but he got his green card again earlier this year, so he counts as domestic now.

Minnesota @ Houston tonight in the Open Cup at 7:30 pm CDT. However, there are lots of thunderstorms in the area. Rain chances are at 90% for game time. We'll see what happens.

Looks like they are going to be forced to try. PK awarded 80+ minutes in.

Loons should have about 5 goals in this game. Just EMBARRASSING finishing throughout.

Then one Loon steals a sure goal from another Loon. Just laughable the ineptitude here.

This game stands in sharp contrast to the Mexico/Germany game in how managers are perceived based on a result sometimes.

Osorio puts out a lineup that is giving Germany fits. Vela is running them ragged, slipping players in and dominating. Osorio takes him out after 60 minutes (saying it was always his intent), and immediately the team goes into a shell and his team barely holds on, with Germany getting chance after chance. He is hailed as a genius, and people are clamoring for him to manage the US (ugh).

This game, the Loons are all over Houston. Nearly every good chance has gone to Minnesota. The team is put in perfect position to win. They give up a goal on a corner kick, miss a penalty and about a half dozen other chances. In the end, people will forget about that, see the loss, and it will be seen as a data point proving Adrian Heath is a subpar manager.

Lighting/weather delay 6 minutes into the first half for DCU/Orlando. Gonna be a while before they get that one restarted.

Turned it on just in time to see everyone walking off the field for the DC v Orlando match. I guess it's a USL night for me.

Nevermind, I'm getting a slow motion pixelated mess for the Open Cup feed. I guess a 1 GB connection isn't good enough.
