In the EU financial fair play should, would, could, limit it but enough sales at a profit might defeat it and allow a monopolistic talent sink? Just change how the sales profits can be used against transfer fees or contract buy-outs?
Crazy to look at their current league start (1-0-2) and then see how easily they got by the Liga MX teams. While anecdotal, I believe that shows the parity with Liga MX closing in. (Same goes for NYRB)
Also looked good v Tigres. If they win, they will have gone through the giants of Mexico. Chivas is down this season but that means this trophy is all they have left to fight for.
Yeah, they've looked good enough vs both Tigres and America, are they actually favored in the final? Winning 3 knockouts in a row vs Mexican teams would be pretty good.
I'm favoring TFC. I don't know what Vegas is saying. Chivas look incapable of scoring two goals in any situation. Very 2017 Rapids like. Red Bull were unable to seal the deal so Chivas eeks results. I just don't see TFC getting this far and then playing down to the competition.
Pretty cool stadium, need to check in on DC's too https://la.curbed.com/2018/4/18/17253620/los-angeles-soccer-stadium-opening-lafc
Arsene Wenger finally walking away http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...om&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial
i was reading about that & all of the tributes pouring in and my first thought was we finally may see them (Arsenal) at DSGP?
I thought you were going to say we can finally see Arsene Wenger coaching the Rapids! Top 6, I'll take it!.
Wow. It is time. OTOH, it will be weird to see Arsenal as just another club trying to buy championships, but with everything changing every two years. Er, at least I hope they're spending money. If they change the manager and still don't spend money, urp.
During the Copa Del Rey the announcers said Iniesta's leaving Barca after the season, probably to China? That team will seem a lot different without him and Xavi. But I'm glad they're willing to be more vertical. Pep took the tiki taka thing too far to an extreme to me.

Too good not to share, NY Cosmos (NeoCosmos) were knocked out of the US Open Cup 3-2 by the Brooklyn Italians of the NPSL https://twitter.com/bklynitalians?r...ust-lawsuit-against-us-soccer.2071061/page-96
