‏Jim Curtin's postgame remarks began with this:
"At kickoff I looked out and saw 13 American players on the field. Which is something that I don’t think you’re going to see too often this year in MLS. For both teams, I think that’s something that is important"

HARRISON, N.J. (May 30, 2018) – French left-back Louis Nganioni has joined the Red Bulls in training this week. Nganioni, currently under contract with Ligue-1 side Olympique Lyonnais, will train with the First Team.

Nganioni, a native of Melun, France, has been with Lyon since 2010 when he joined as a youth player. He has seen time on loan at FC Utrecht in the Netherlands and Stade Brest in France’s Ligue 2.

Sounds like a pick up to replace Taxi while Taxi heals. It is weird but I think the MLS's summer league status is where this comes from and it can be very useful. It is something they should really market to Europe.

If you're picking up someone underutilized, and/or out of contract in Europe, can come into MLS with a team filling an immediate need. There certainly is a potential for seeing a lot of minutes right away.

NYCFC lost yesterday. We will pass them if we win today. We go to Yankee Stadium next Sunday.

Well take Toronto today and NYC next week. Down with all these MLS 2.0 teams we run the east coast.

FC Dallas scored in the 86th and 88th minutes to beat Atlanta 3-2. FC Dallas took over the MLS lead in points per game, with us leading the East and second in MLS. Atlanta leads the East in points with 5 more points and 3 more games than us. On Saturday, FC Dallas goes to Real Salt Lake, who is 6-1-1 at home. If FC Dallas doesn't win and we win at NYCFC, we will lead MLS in points per game after the weekend.

You know this is a move by Jesse Marsch to get the USMNT job. I don't see any other reason why he'd walk away from a winning club.

Wow. Jesse gone. Armas? I don't know a thing about his coaching ability. A little nervous about this one.

Armas has been working his way up since retirement. Earned his badges and has been an assistant for the past few seasons. I started a thread just to discuss this.

He is leaving for the RB Leipzig job allgedly.

I found tonight's match particularly uplifting. We didn't play that well but came back and went ahead through two amazing goals by a late sub, our new German sparkplug, which earned a first win for the boss.

    Well done boys!!

P.s. I only regret is that I decided not to go to this game. The second half would've been fun.

I'm going on July 28, when BWP could reach 100 goals, or it could be his first game after he scored 100. He scored his 98th goal. 21.2 percent of his shots have been goals, which is the seventh highest percentage of the Top 103 in career goals. I used the Top 103 rather than 100 because there is a tie.
