https://www.newyorkredbulls.com/pos...-robles-mls-record-prior-match-against-philly is titled "Fans Encouraged to Arrive Early to Honor Luis Robles’ MLS Record Prior to Match Against Philly." It has a YouTube video from Fox 5 uploaded by Tina Cervasio.
Jonathan Tannenwald Jim Curtin's postgame remarks began with this: "At kickoff I looked out and saw 13 American players on the field. Which is something that I don’t think you’re going to see too often this year in MLS. For both teams, I think that’s something that is important"
ugh! SOME FAMILIAR FACES: Parker, Adams, Miazga, plus Weah named to USMNT June roster; no Pulisic "Adams and Parker will depart for the national team camp Tuesday and return after the match against France. Both players will miss league road matches against New England (June 2) and Columbus (June 9) and the Red Bulls’ Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against New York City FC at Red Bull Arena June 6."
HARRISON, N.J. (May 30, 2018) – French left-back Louis Nganioni has joined the Red Bulls in training this week. Nganioni, currently under contract with Ligue-1 side Olympique Lyonnais, will train with the First Team. Nganioni, a native of Melun, France, has been with Lyon since 2010 when he joined as a youth player. He has seen time on loan at FC Utrecht in the Netherlands and Stade Brest in France’s Ligue 2.
Sounds like a pick up to replace Taxi while Taxi heals. It is weird but I think the MLS's summer league status is where this comes from and it can be very useful. It is something they should really market to Europe.
If you're picking up someone underutilized, and/or out of contract in Europe, can come into MLS with a team filling an immediate need. There certainly is a potential for seeing a lot of minutes right away.
oh ffs... NYRB had a 1-0 lead and lost 2-1 to the Revs. RB2 had a 1-0 lead and lost 2-1 to Cincy. NYRB U23s had a 1-0 lead over Reading United in the battle for first place and lost 2-1 and of course...the USMNT had a 1-0 lead on Ireland and lost 2-1
https://www.newyorkredbulls.com/post/2018/06/28/new-york-red-bulls-waive-stefano-bonomo HARRISON, N.J. (June 28, 2018) – The New York Red Bulls have waived forward Stefano Bonomo, the club announced today.
Shame, but I have to wonder if this isn't partially driven by him, since it is taking place during the USL season, but also the European transfer window.
We won with Kemar Lawrence scoring the only goal in the 4th minute. https://matchcenter.mlssoccer.com/matchcenter/2018-07-01-toronto-fc-vs-new-york-red-bulls/boxscore is the box score. Toronto had more shots on target, 8 to 2.
FC Dallas scored in the 86th and 88th minutes to beat Atlanta 3-2. FC Dallas took over the MLS lead in points per game, with us leading the East and second in MLS. Atlanta leads the East in points with 5 more points and 3 more games than us. On Saturday, FC Dallas goes to Real Salt Lake, who is 6-1-1 at home. If FC Dallas doesn't win and we win at NYCFC, we will lead MLS in points per game after the weekend.
You know this is a move by Jesse Marsch to get the USMNT job. I don't see any other reason why he'd walk away from a winning club.
Wow. Jesse gone. Armas? I don't know a thing about his coaching ability. A little nervous about this one.
Armas has been working his way up since retirement. Earned his badges and has been an assistant for the past few seasons. I started a thread just to discuss this. He is leaving for the RB Leipzig job allgedly.
Florian Valot @florian_valot 15h15 hours ago This might be one of the worst and saddest day in my life. This amazing season ended too early for me when on Thursday I tore my ACL. I have no words to describe how I feel

I found tonight's match particularly uplifting. We didn't play that well but came back and went ahead through two amazing goals by a late sub, our new German sparkplug, which earned a first win for the boss. Well done boys!! P.s. I only regret is that I decided not to go to this game. The second half would've been fun.
I'm going on July 28, when BWP could reach 100 goals, or it could be his first game after he scored 100. He scored his 98th goal. 21.2 percent of his shots have been goals, which is the seventh highest percentage of the Top 103 in career goals. I used the Top 103 rather than 100 because there is a tie.
