My boss is going tomorrow. For his sake and everyone else’s going tomorrow I hope the Union trade up. Otherwise it’ll just be awkward for Union fans. At the moment we don’t have a pick in the first or second round. Currently we have the 54th, 55th, & 77th picks.

I went last year. It was cold as balls but still solid. I think most people here would enjoy it. Nice that they made it on the weekend. (was middle of the week last year) probably won't go this weekend since I'll be busy with the kids.
I’m sure if you had a pen and asked they would... pretty much shook all of their hands as they walked off the field after the session. Curtin gave a little pep talk to the fans that showed up prior to the practice last year too.
I did. I took my 4 year old twins, so I didn't get to watch too much of the practice, but they enjoyed the chance to run around outside and enjoy the nice weather. They got to shake hands with all the players at the end, which was really exciting for them. There were probably about 200 people there, and lots of people brought their kids. It lasted about 2 hours. I didn't really know what to expect since I hadn't been to anything like this since my grandfather took me to an NFL training camp when I was a kid. Curtin started out by giving a 10 minute speech about the objectives and schedule for the preseason, then what they would be doing during the session. They started with warmups, then a few passing drills and shooting drills, some small-sided games, and then increasingly larger-sized games. Curtin said the practice was mainly about evaluating the fitness and level of all the players at the beginning of training camp, so he gave the players a longer leash to be selfish than a normal practice. In general the players looked sharp and excited to be back together. Overall it was a fun experience and I would probably go to another one. Also, 6ABC sent a truck down to cover it. I saw them interviewing players at the end of the session, but I didn't see who.
I went, too, and was surprised by the intensity of the play. The small sided games were fast and very competitive. A few quick items: Bedoya wasn't there as he was at his sister's wedding in Miami. Ayuk is much thicker/heavier than before, and his touch/passes weren't very good. Herbers looked very sharp with nice passes and strong shots. Accam looks like he is settling in, asking teammates to explain a complicated passing drill but also joking around with guys. Najem looked very confident and quick on the ball - not the10 we all want, but kind of impressive. The Cameroonian defender signed for Bethlehem looked very good - big, fast, soft first touch, and positioned intelligently. Finally, Pat Noonan seems like a kinder/gentler Sorber -- firmly in control of drills, but smiling and having a nice rapport with players.
Two of my best friends growing up were twins. Twins are a gift. Good on you for spending time with them creating memories.

Yeah that kid always tweets it out backwards.... (or at least the two times I’ve seen him tweet out lineup stuff) He also doesn’t like when people are critical of the team... soooo I guess there’s a few things suspect about him... but more coverage is more coverage.
