ESPN article says Vancouver doesn't split the fee with MLS because the kid is a Homegrown. Does MLS own the teams or not?

We all know the Nigerian money scam. Here's the NYRB scam: https://www.newyorkredbulls.com/content/fraud-warning
Hearing @fccincinnati will announce 2 new signings from @MLS...Fanendo Adi & Fatai Alashe will be in Cincinnati to finish the 2018 @USL season. #MLS #MLSALLSTAR— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) July 29, 2018 Adi to Cincy,
That's a good signing for them. Does USL have a salary cap? I've heard FCC is making a push to leave with a bang, with a USL championship.
In different circumstances, I'd be interested in how they would manage to pull off these trades. From what budget would they be using assets? 2019 AM? I don't see how that would work. So I'd imagine they will just be paying out of pocket for Adi and Alashe, similar to the Poku sale a few years ago.
The end of DC/OCSC has been all over twitter but not mentioned here. Rooney with a great tackle and last ditch cross. Wayne Rooney on his fantastic tackle...... and pass https://t.co/egfgNqW17a pic.twitter.com/gEOJaBFv4c— Darren Farley (@DFImpressionist) August 14, 2018
That was a great play by Rooney. Did you see the end of Dallas-Seattle? Unkel doesn't belong on the field again this season after that.

You know what happens next, right? Columbus and Portland meet in the Final again, Steve Clark returns, and wins the Cup for Columbus by way of a 93rd minute own goal clusterf**k.
Inter Miami. Thoughts? I don't think it rolls off the tongue very well, but at least Inter is a new name for MLS teams. And Miami is a very international city. Could be better, could be worse. At least it's new. I like the pink as well. Something new. http://www.espn.com/soccer/blog/the...est-potentially-revealed-by-trademark-filings
I'm a fan of it. The color is unique for our league. Palermo-esque. Inter was always my first choice for a name too because of the city being such an "international" destination and diverse place. It's obviously not an original name but it's better than something that's been beat to death like United. It all feels very "Beckham" too.
The logo's not bad, but I'm not a fan of the europosing. If they are going to do that, one may as well watch the real thing. Of course, if the Crew move I shan't be a fan of the league at all, so I suppose it's rather meaningless. Certainly they are not at all interested in my opinion.
Yay, another team with black as a primary color. Enjoy wearing that in the Florida sun... Agree about the Europosing. At least they aren’t another United.
I think it’s shit. More Europosing. If you want to call yourself Miami International Football Club, or something to that effect, that’s one thing. I guess. But stop treating the American fan base like the only way soccer can have credibility is by using a foreign language and appealing to snobs.
Pretty much this. Although I'm a bit tired of everything being "football" too. We're in the U.S., we call it soccer here. Sure I went through a phase back in high school 20 years ago when 8 wanted to call it football, but I was a stupid high school kid and got over it after a year or two. One of the things I did like about the crew rebrand was they went with S.C. instead of F.C. I actually kinda like the logo. International Soccer Club of Miami would have been fine, and shortening it to Inter Miami would have been fine too.
