Houston Dynamo just "parted ways" with their manager, too

    They're dropping like flies . . .

I've never understood his phrase. In my experience, flies multiply.

Pulisic with the assist on Giroud's goal. Looks like he should be a regular starter.

Five Stripes with an early goal vs Club America in the Campeons Cup.

    Hopefully they can hold on

Orlando is leading Kansas City 1-0 at half.

The Loons and Rapids are scoreless.

I'm not sure either of those games count.

The atmosphere in Atlanta and the lineups selected put both “real” games to shame.

Balotelli to Brescia official. One year contract with automatic extension if the team stays up (1.5m Euro / season, plus bonuses).

The Express on BeIn went from Kay Murray to Hope Solo. I think I do not have to comment any further.

First the stadium was to be sited in a place likely to be under water within 20 years. Now this. My guess is that the redevelopment at the old Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale morphs into the "permanent" home of "Miami Inter" otherwise known as the Fort Lauderdale Beckhams.

I like this almost as much as FC BendIt

PS: FC-anything or anything-FC is still the dumb********iest thing. Unless it's for comedy.

Thanks. I've been in Italy since July 1st and the distance has helped give me a new perspective on stupid and weird behavior. The latest being the Greenland "purchase" which has Europe completely amused and the idiot in Italy who precipiatted a crisis that forced the PM to resign, except that a center-left coalition may be created that leaves the idiot completely out of the government. Sometimes I think the human brain is "just" smart enough to create things, but not smart enough to maintain those things or think about their consequences. In other words, we are an evolutionary dead end that, unfortunately, may crater the planet before we become extinct.

On the other hand, those raccoons who pried off my garbage can lids with their opposable thumbs are on their way up the evolutionary ladder.

Figured this fits in the "other teams" thread best: https://iltirreno.gelocal.it/region...ntra-due-sovravvissuti-all-eccidio-1.37380057

Some folks walk the walk and learn from history, others, like the Orange Fraud, know nothing, remember nothing and learn nothing.

On Tuesday, I'm going to a small museum in Borgo a Mozzano that commemorates life in Tuscany during the German occupation and creation of the Gothic Line. Also will walk a trail where some of the bunkers and trenches have been preserved. History is alive here in Italy, you can't escape it.

LA Gals are just shredding LAFC at the moment.
Ibra has a brace after 15 minutes. The Gals' Pavon just scored, too. 1-3 Gals.

And we beat these rule-benders--without Lucharoo-- three games ago. WTF?

Tactics. Just like Atlanta last season. The Galaxy attack unabashedly. Ben loves teams to come straight at him and push the fullbacks wide and deep. It's the one way hoofing it pay's off consistently.

Bradley was asked about what LAFC need to do to beat the Galaxy and basically said do what every other team in MLS has figured how to do this season.

It was tongue in cheek but still a burn.

ICYMI Vancouver gave up 43 shots against San Jose.

That's a lot of shots to give up.
