Nick DeLeon just extended his contract with TFC to 2021. In four matches he has one goal and three assists. Sounds like the Nicky we knew when he started out with us.

 

Besides MLS, I'm also a NASCAR fan. They've been talking about going back to Nashville after a long absence and been trying to get funding/ownership to revamp the racetrack. MLS in Nashville is also building or going to build a stadium. I have been curious how close the two would be for maybe a future combined game/race roadtrip.

I was going to post some photos from around EagleBank Field last Saturday and forgot.

I was going to note the additional/refreshed sponsorship signs.

More importantly, unlike plans or in Minnesota, the sponsor gets a "sculpture" instead of the team name.

 

Now I'm mad at myself for uploading a version I did where I did not also note the audi logos on the empty store fronts.

The KC fan ended up in the hospital with a broken nose and a concussion.

I don't see this as a reflection on MLS, just the inherent absurdity that is The Laughing Cows.

I hope MLS throws the book at Kaku. But they probably won't, because they're MLS.

He deserves AT LEAST 10 games; I suspect it might be closer to 5, though.

 

I'm looking forward to the cancer-water company ending their marketing experiment and the team changing back to the NY/NJ Metrostars as God the Toxic Avenger intended it.

 

Kaku said after the game, through the team, that it was an accident. If it was, don't you think he would have went over to the unconscious fan and tried to help or apologize or something? Instead, he makes the universal sign for "What? Get up already." They should add an extra game or two just for his appalling reaction.

What is even funnier is that when your read the article and then go to the "comments" section, the only two comments are bots offering marketing scam opportunities.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing the first MLS manager fired this season and looking at some of the records it shouldn't be long. I know this makes me a bad person but I don't care.
