So up a goal and a man Cheatin’ Bob pulls an attacker and puts in a defender and manages to win the match.

    Tactics.

Standard tactics. When others do it, they win. When DCU tries, they lose. Go figure.

Perry kitchen and Chris Pontius on the field for lag right now. Perry’s time in Europe didn’t change him, he’s still a tactical foul machine.

.Wow, the Galaxy started with Boateng and Allesandrini on the wings. They'll finish the game with Pontius and Lleget on the wings. Thats some impressive wing depth.

Except DC replaced a mediocre attacker with a slow immobile attacker.

Now please tell me they at least threatened to counterattack rather than trying to absorb the pressure full time,

Atlanta's shitty 2017 defense is gonna be even shittier in 2018. Alleged genius Tata Martino thinks that Jeff Laurentowicz is the answer at CB. Good luck with that.

Also, this sign from Philly was the big winner in Week One:

They tried to but it was kind of a shit show. They'd get going and make a bad pass about 40 yards from goal. At that point Vela started taking it to the corner to kill off the game (after Rossi was subbed).

Jesus Medina > Jack Harrison. I think NYC wins the East.

And they made almost 4mil off Harrison and got a better player in return.

Orlando outplayed us with 10 men and a bunch of injuries. I'll watch out for them.

If 36-year old David Villa stubs his toe on the pitcher's mound at Yankee Stadium, they're Spoon contenders.

Nah, they have Berget, too, he'll bang in goals for them I bet. They're already retooling because Villa will become less and less influential

Less influential for Villa could easily still be 10-12 goals off the bench. That guy's a machine.

I watched the game. It was one of those games.

I dont think Robles and the defense can allow as many shots in the 2nd leg and not get punished for it.

Chiellini's grief during the pause before the Juve-Tottenham match was apparent. He was obviously highly respected among his peers, What is hard for me to fathom is how players can rise above their grief and play the magnificent game he had that day.

It was probably motivation for him. Great match.

I got a feeling that there was something other than physics that kept the ball out of Buffon's net but I'm just a bit eccentric when it comes to the powers of the departed. Regardless, Juve put on quite an entertain couple of shows last week.

Lots of great combination soccer throughout the league today, United really needs to show me something. If Red Bull teenagers can do it, United's first team has no excuse.

Cheatin' Bob must have the best assistant coach in the league. The 5 goals they laid on Salt Lake should be enough to rename the team Proletarian Salt Lake because there was nothing regal to see from them.
Red Bull B proved themselves at RFK last season, United has plenty of excuses but none hold water. Time to man up top to bottom United

LAFC Shows what a committed and interested ownership can do for a team. They genuinely look like they are having fun and it’s definitely not a money making endeavor per se.
