Must've been a pretty good week considering the lack of posts!

    Some notes:
Saghafi caught a pretty sneaky VC elbow from Minnesota's Mason Toye. His positioning was a big key to seeing it, I'm sure.

Had a no card upgrade to a SFP red via video review in Chico's game in Seattle. I really need to go back and watch it as it happened live to see how it was missed initially. Pedro Santos was surely attempting to play the ball, but he followed through and planted his studs in the collarbone region of an opponent with a straight leg.

First goal in Houston was called offside on the field but was awarded after video review. I've yet to see a still shot of the decision.

This started as a play on the ball and ended with a kick to the face. Grajeda had an unobstructed view. He signals in the direction of Seattle before he blows the whistle. If it was a throw in call he is pointing the wrong way. Not sure what he is thinking here, have to wonder if the availability of VAR played a role.

I think protocol was violated again and Grajeda waited for VAR to bail him out there. How he doesn't deem that challenge to at least be a yellow is shocking. He's looking right at it.

Again, referees doing nothing about dissent after a VAR decision. Same thing with the allowed goal in the Houston vs. LA game. Players surrounding the referee to protest the awarding of the goal.
