The Rapids have been successful with TAM in the past. Tam McManus for example.

Question for any Vancouver fans reading this thread. Do you know why Deklan Wynne is not considered an international? I assumed when the Rapids traded for him from Vancouver he wouldn't have a green card, having only ever played for Vancouver in North America.

Montreal sign Rod Fanni from Olympique Marseille, filling a center back hole that opened when Zakaria Diallo was injured in training last week.

So in addition to 19 year old South Americans, the other fad in MLS right now is 30+ year old French center backs. Rod Fanni, Zakaria Diallo, Frederic Brillant, Claude Dielna, Aurelien Collin, Michael Ciani, Larrys Mabiala ... Also the French speaking Swiss and Belgians, Reto Ziegler, Philippe Senderos and Laurent Ciman. Also Hassoun Camara and Damien Perrinelle from last year.

To answer my own question we found out Wynne has his green card. I don't know how a guy who's worked outside the country until 2.5 months ago has a green card already but I'll take it.

Maybe he was living in Vancouver, Washington the whole time?

I know you're being funny, but the most likely location is Blaine or Point Roberts. Darren Mattocks got his green card while playing for the Whitecaps and, I believe, he 'lived' in Blaine for a period of time so that he could qualify.
