Is the jersey tracking thread a thing this year? I can't remember which forum it was in (or search worth a shit), but always enjoyed the photos, discussion and critique.

I am not doing the weekly photos, descriptions, and stats if that's what you are asking about. Someone else is free to take it over.

I wish more jersey sponsors were local to the teams, instead of selling out to the highest bidder.

There are local ties for most even if large companies.

I hate that Houston doesn't have a shirt sponsor.

Who in their right mind would pay $85 for plain black and white T-shirt’s?

Dunno Real Madrid fans have been doing it for years. Maybe that's more of a comment of their fans but its definitely been done.

Interesting. Even if you disregard the special recycled jersey weekend, no team has worn the same kit every game. That has not been the case this early in the season the last few years.

Rapids will apparently shift from burgundy to blues socks this weekend

As I recall from the thread alluded to in the quote above, the league office tells the teams what uniforms to wear, including GKs. Anyone know if that's true? In at least 4 games I've seen this season, GK jerseys have clashed with the opponent's jersey or the opposing GK's jersey.

I’ve always thought the teams pick with ref/league oversight for clashes, but that’s just from memory.

Kit tracking note- Portland eschewed monochrome white on the road yesterday and wore what looked like green shorts specifically made for away games (white striping on the sides instead of gold). Was a really sharp look going up against Colorado.

The teams have the first say in what they wear at the beginning of the season, but it gets checked with the league competition people. Then 2 weeks before the game the refs and EM's for each team check again. Refs have final say day of.

Montreal's Evan Bush wore a white-and-neon-yellow kit in the first half, which was confusing with DCU playing in all-white. He changed at HT, and came back in all-orange.
