MLS just tweeted this out (although the URL seems to indicate a publication date of 2-5-18 the last edit according to the page's source code was the 17th so it seems up to date) and the one that stands out is that Montreal is listed as 'coming soon'? Sorry if already posted but based on preseason highlights on YouTube it appears that Houston's new kit sponsor is Union 76.
76 has been the training shirt sponsor for the Dynamo since the fall of 2016. The Dynamo have worn 76 on their shirts in the preseason for two years now. 76 could take over the regular season shirt sponsorship but I wouldn't base it on the team wearing a 76 shirt in preseason. We are supposed to see the new secondary jersey on February 20 so we may find out soon. The new Dynamo secondary jersey has been announced: https://www.houstondynamo.com/2018jersey It is interesting that they are calling it an "alternate" jersey. No jersey sponsor at this point.
"Alternate" must be Dynamo marketing speak although I don't remember them using that kind of language except when we briefly had a third shirt. In the MLS online store this new shirt is referred to as the "secondary jersey." That makes more sense.
A version of this could have been a great look for DC harkening back to the three stripes of jerseys past.

Well.. I'm going to wait for the official announcement to give a final opinion, but the leaks for the LAFC jerseys are... uninspiring. they went very safe, which seems unusual for how they have been marketing themselves up until this point..
Wait til Miami finally comes out! It's been going on for how long and they couldn't even launch a color or a name.
Imagine Montreal kit, instead of Black and Blue, Black and White. Take the thin white lines running down the blue stripes in the middle and change those to Gold. Gold 3 stripes and gold piping. Black Shorts with Gold 3 stripes and black socks with Gold stripes. That would make for nice looking LAFC kit.
No.. that would have been pretty horrible for their branding. White hasn’t featured at all in their marketting and all of a sudden they make it one of the primary colors on their jersey? Yeah... no. Black and gold stripes would be more on brand. The big failure here is just how boring the jersey seems to be in the pictures. It’s just a flat black with gold piping on the shoulder.. if they want to go all black, fine, but they should have put some black texture on it, or done some more gold accents..
The LAFC kits would look nicer if YouTube would have allowed their logo to color coordinate. The red play button cheapens everything about both uniforms. When the Galaxy went black and gold, herbascam allowed their name to be gold to match the shirt. It looks a lot nicer.
