Channel 17 touting the playoffs while selling them with the SOB. Guess they aren’t aware that SOB is dead. Sad.

Two guarantees on any must win match with this team.

    1. They shit the bed
    2. Trusty OG

Something big happened at half for Burke to be benched.

Sapong as striker. May as well switch off the TV.

Burke benching could be related to the Dockal interaction, but could also just be Jimmy protecting him from getting a second yellow before the playoffs.

Trusty forces a save from Johnson. Should have done better.

Bedoya misses a glorious chance. Finish your chances boys. With better finishing, we're having a completely different conversation.

And now Fafa misses a penalty.

    That's so Union.

The Union have missed 2 tap ins and a PK. Only Union in the world that doesn't know how to strike.

    Direct action gets the goods...I.W.W.

The Union have failed to turn up. I hope we don't end up playing City in the playoffs. The pitch ruins the match.

Ian Joy just called Ilsinho a mix between Forrest Gump and a Tasmanian devil.

Jay Simpson on for Sapong to rescue the match.

    Oh well.

Tommy trying to argue that NYCFC doesn't want to see the Union again on Wednesday. I think they wish they could play the Union at home every week.

So unless Columbus blows it against Minnesota, it's 6th place for the Union. I'd honestly rather play NYCFC than DC. Not to mention get out of Atlanta's bracket...6th is better than 5th.

This is almost a given...so watch him do something crazy, like starting Simpson over Burke.

After actually reading the playoff format, I guess the matchups get reseeded after the knockout game. So we are probably going to get Atlanta either way.

The Loons just tied the game up. So as it stands we’ll be playing DC now.

Update: Nvm, Columbus just scored again. 3-2 with 6 mins left.

Wow, I just realized RB won the shield. I thought Atlanta had it wrapped up. So we play them if we beat NYCFC. Better than Atlanta.

Sounds like the Union is on the same page going into the playoffs:

Too early for nominations for sub-heading aka tagline?
