Playoffs clinched, record points total... This doesn't feel right.

To be fair, things only really got moving in the second half of the season. A lot of good will has been lost over the years. It will take more than just that to bring people back.

Even though at least half of the Union goals were the result of some extremely poor goaltending, and the defense looked suspect at times, credit for the win and showing the grit to put away a much inferior side in such decisive fashion. Previous iterations of this team wouldn't have done that, and that's been the clearest difference this year. Now convince us by notching some playoff wins.

On tv seemed to be a lot of fans there. Sob sectioned seemed more full than all year.

There was more energy and it was better attended than other games this season, but there were still a lot of empty seats.

Well at least the Union know how to beat a Minnesota team this weekend.

TRE has done a good job of consolidating everyone towards the center. The edges, however, are still very sparse compared to past seasons.

I think that's because the edges are not sold. Look at the map for the NYRB game. Most of the stadium is sold, but 134 and 140 are mostly unsold.

On another note...I watched the replay on DVR. I'm thinking Fafa is going to miss a game or two for a headbutt. Looks like the other guy leaned in first and embellished it greatly but it looks like Fafa's head goes forward too. Suspect DisCo will review and issue a suspension.

There's no contact so I think the yellow cards will be the end of it for both of them.

The tailgates seem to be getting more and more low key which is sort of a bummer... the River End itself has been pretty solid participation wise, but wish it could fill in more.

I thought it was an automatic red when I saw it live. His head clearly moved forward and that is supposed to be the trigger for a red IIRC.
