My dad thought he was going to be playing and I had to explain why athletes sign contracts to retire with certain teams. You had me worried for a second.

Voted win solely because I am going with my daughter and I want it to be a win. She went to the inaugural game with me and has sat in cold rain, sleet, the owner's box and everything in between over the years. She is not really into sports or soccer but seems to indulge me twice a year for games. She's 15 now and could easily find better things to do. Hopefully we will win one of the raffles for STMs and get to shake hands with Seba.

    Game day...

22 votes, 13 posts - last of which was on a Wednesday, game to honor Seba but still tons of seats for sale...

Hey, MLS Owners-allowing Sugarman to run this team is resulting in you leaving money on the table. A rising tide lifts all boats...except those with rusted hulls due to lack of upkeep.

I'll be there but I feel bad for Seba. Wish we could show him more love.

2"-3" per hour rain rates possible after 2pm. Really wish they could move this - Seba deserves a full stadium in the brilliant sunshine.

The crappy weather is karma for the Union not doing the bobbleheads as a giveaway (like any other professional sports team would) but rather as a for sale item. How much can it cost for the team to pick up the tab for what, 5,000 or 8,000 made in China bobbleheads and give them out at the gate?? Wouldn't that be a good way to, I don't know, PROMOTE the game and increase attendance? Trying to feel good about this team is ulcer-inducing.

People make fun of this team and label them 'minor league' but pretty much every minor league team has way better giveaways and promotions.

CJ starting over Burke again, and Ilson, Jr over Accam. Burke is no superstar, but he at least seems lively and has a nose for goal while CJ seems incapable of scoring this season (like Accam).

    This is a good result.

CJ doesn’t deserve a spot in the 18

Brek Shea is really really bad at soccer

Dockal has adjusted to MLS and is pretty good

    Creavalle is > than Jones

Both players are playing on the top of their game, excited what Jones looks like at 27.

With the exception of Sapong (zero movement, turnovers, stopped counting at 9 passes backwards in the first half), this was a beautiful game of soccer! Playing this well without Haris was very impressive. A rare match where Blake didn't have to shoulder the load. Hoping Burke gets the start against LAFC.

Disappointed Sugarman didn't speak during the Seba ceremony. Wanted to boo his ass back to NYC
