    This.

He’s MLS-depth good, but I haven’t seen any creativity in attack. So it’s not so much I’m down on him but just haven’t been wowed by his play. Bedoyas off ball runs yesterday were dangerous and for the first time since he got here I felt he was living up to expectations. If Fontana develops into a Nogueira one day it’s a win. I just think he’s more Pfeffer than Nogs right now. Smallish guy who can disappear a bit and get muscled off the ball. I didn’t see much tight short passing from them to spring wingers. So I guess I don’t see what everyone seems to want to see, that our HGs are finally producing. They’re in the lineup but ?

One thing is for sure, Jay Simpson is not a number 10. And he's painfully slow.

Trusty has good recovery pace. He'll probably need it a lot this year. I'm sure he'll have some good matches and others will be nightmarish. I like Elliott a lot. He's calm with the ball at his feet and will continue to improve in terms of reading the game.

Friedel must have gone apeshit seeing his captain get sent off. That guy could easily have gotten 4 yellow cards last night.

When CJ Sapong gets your first CB sent off for tackling and nearly gets the second one sent off for the same thing you know your in big trouble for the year.

Elliot had a decent game, but he did shank I think 3 long passes out of bounds early on... seemed like a waste.. not the worst of errors but something hopefully he can improve on.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I figured the wind had something to do with it, but maybe he hasn't developed that skill yet.

He was hitting them with decent accuracy last year. He’s definitely the best passer on the back line/maybe best long passer besides Medunjanin on the team. I’m willing to chalk it up to wind and first game jitters/rust.

Anyone know what happened with Epps? I haven't seen anything indicating why he wasn't in the 18. I would think that he would be ahead of Ayuk on the depth chart.

IE, Chrome, Safari ... all three are requiring something I never had the opportunity to set up. I guess the FO doesn't want any more of my money.

Maybe I'll try Firefox, or Mosaic ...

They honestly looked like a Piotr Nowak coached team out there. Run hard, kick hard, foul hard.

Anyone catch the paid attendance? I was hob nobbing in the club and didn't hear it.

Not even close to 16,000 in the seats and it started to thin out as the game went on.

I love how we'll get to savor this win for two full weeks before the reality of playing the Columbus "We Just Beat Toronto in Their Building" Crew hits.
