Have you seen how Mou treats young players? He's not exactly known for bringing the kids up from the Academy............

Have his people made it clear he strictly wants to be in an academy? Seems insane not to be on short contract that would at least allow him to get USL minutes, since that really is the top level of our academy program. Just doesn’t make sense to move from the ManU U-18s down to MLS academy minutes.

Players don't have to be under contract to get USL minutes, though their minutes are capped.

Does that mean he's already out of contract and could be signed even though the window has closed?

    -EDIT-

And what's his FIFA '18 rating?

    Yes, out of contract.

And his FIFA 18 rating is 68.

I'd like to see Santi Moar get a shot with the Union. Second on Bethlehem in goals scored with 4 and leads the team in assists with 8 and shots with 43 (second place only has 20). Also first in chances created with 37. Skillful attacker, can play on the wing (both sides).

It would be hilarious if former Bethlehem attackers turn out to be better than the guys we started the year with. All he has to do is score 2 or 3 goals from the wing.

Hopefully he gets a green card before next season and they "bring him up".

Yeah that was like half of my point. Add two Bethlehem wingers and you’re the rest of the way there.

Are implying that the guy in charge of identifying talent for the first team screwed up? It's not like he'll be in a position to identify talent from now on.

I think his track record is really mixed but his work stocking BSFC and developing academy players to the first team is a lot stronger than his outside acquisitions. I do think there are more guys like Corey Burke who we’ll see move up from Bethlehem and become “revelations.” The fact that they could so easily out-stat first team players is more an indictment of the players than it is Earnie, though.

At least according to wikipedia, Przbylko's goal scoring record is terrible (although he has played for respectable teams). Don't want.

Didn't most everyone ridicule the Corey Burke signing?

I thought he was an upgrade over Charlie Davies. This guy sounds like Polish CJ though.

My problem with the Burke signing was he wasn’t enough. I didn’t totally trust CJ going into the season, so extending Sapong and signing Burke from Steel was just dissapointing, it was nothing against Corey personally, just the lingering feeling the team will never do enough. I still don’t think Burke is enough... he’s a nice player who causes havoc in front of the net and can score, but he shouldn’t be viewed as a long term solution.

Agreed, I think my frustration at the time was not about Burke specifically (I slated him as an upgrade over Simpson), but that it seemed like we weren't getting an upgrade over Sapong

Ironically, he turned out to be an upgrade over Sapong.

From the Turkish second division? There was one team that spent over around 1.5 million USD this year. Outside of the the highest fee was maybe about 100k? So, less than that. Lucky if it breaks 50k honestly.
