Correct, and I pointed that out. Thank you for repeating what I said. Perhaps 'people will understand that a little better' after you reiterated it. The problem is that gets more and more difficult to sign European players after their window has closed, as teams close ranks heading into the end of their seasons. At best, we find a player who has become completely superfluous to the team's plan (which is how we signed Bastian, I suspect) and the team simply wants to shed a contract.
His absence from any preseason game has been the best part of any preseason game so far. Why any team would sign a 36 year old Alan Gordon is beyond me. He has played in MLS since 2004 and, despite being a striker, he has ONE season where he has scored more than 5 league goals.
Sorry I have to do this but Guillermo Rivera @FireConf 4h Alan Gordon is now camp with #cf97 as a trialist
and another deal fell through Guillermo Rivera @FireConf 48m Replying to @rog905 Team wouldn't sell so they moved on. Fans will continue to ask those questions this season until the roster is completed. As I've said before, let's see where they are on May 1.
Guillermo is one of the the worst team_coverage guys in the league.how he makes a salary as an MLS reporter boggles my mind.
this is, of course, one of the problems with the MLS playoff format, American sports in general, and the current braintrust at the Fire. Wait til May 1st? wtf? if all anyone cares about is getting a squad compiled in time to make a playoff run, what's my incentive to be a fan the remaining 6 months of the season? see you guys in August, I guess.
I thought those had all been secreted away to a classified government storehouse, ark of the covenant-style. Why would you possibly do that to us?
Guillermo tweeting Goosens is a trialist for an Eredevise team. I guess that answers that question. Also if I see one naked picture of Shep Messing I'm gonna post a dick pic of Pele and earn my first yellow card! Don't do it!
Good for Goosens , he's a good guy with alot of bad luck. We all knew his injury bug was going to find him here - but wish he could've shown us more.
The Fire vs. Nashville(USL) was terrible. Fire struggled all day to work the ball out of the back and the attack was disjointed at best. Douglas was out of the game shortly after coming on at the beginning of the second half. The commentators said the Fire had been hit hard by injuries. No Pollster, no Dax. not sure I saw Lillard out there either. Basti was good, but Nikolic disappeared without service.
You just know it is going to him NBC Sports Soccer @NBCSportsSoccer Adios, Fernando? It appears Torres could soon leave his beloved Atletico Madrid, but what's next? | #AMFC #LaLiga wp.me/p2g4vo-1RMm
